We believe strongly against rewarding positive reviews with discounts, and take pride in earning each review.

Many repair shops have found a way to cheat social media sources. They will offer a customer a direct discount if they leave a positive in store review, which creates a flurry of five star reviews of potentially three star businesses.

Check the ratio of reviews to filtered reviews on Yelp! before making your decision. More filtered reviews than real reviews means trouble.

You’ll note our ratio of reviews to filtered reviews is quite low, as a result of not bribing customers to leave an in-store review. None of our reviews were solicited by offering a customer a discount to leave a review! The only motivation these customers had was the service they received while here.

We do not cherry pick reviews and put them on the site next to a name that could be fake. Everything you see is the truth, and can be found on reputable review websites. We retain substantial positive feedback on repair jobs refurbishing modern portable devices.

First fill out a form, then you get a ticket number and write it down and put it in the box you ship the device in. Few days later from delivery I got an email indicating diagnosis was beginning. 2 days later I got a full quote and was fairly priced, and was accurate on what their website had stated it possibly could total up to be. 2 days later, it's completed and shipped out Rather spending 600+ for a new board from Apple, with no possibility of data recovery, I got to keep the same board, retain my data, and was done cheaper in the same amount of time it would have taken to do their mail in service which is what the Apple store would have done. Amazing how I went from a MacBook that was completely dead, no signs of power going through tthe board, to a smooth running as good as new Mac. Highly recommend their services and his YouTube channel. read less

She had been told the entire motherboard needed replacing and, as a result, was cost prohibitive. These fine fine folks gladly fixed the machine after I shipped to them and they had it back to me in perfect working condition within 2 week's time. They charged me exactly what the estimate was. I would highly recommend them for repairs and also check out Mr. Rossmann's very informative YouTube channel which is chock full of useful information on business, technology and customer relations. read less

Unfortunately six years ago I did not know about Rossmann so I listened to Apple and bought a new one that year - and that's what MY review is about my late 2015 MBP 15" Retina (last production run and really is a 2016). Nevertheless, I am stunned with our identical experiences yet not surprised about her opinion of Rossmann Repair Group because it's like we are the same person. I only wish I hadn't been steered into trading my 2010 for a 2015 by Apple (doing exactly what the mothership wanted)! My opinion about Apple is that sometime between 2010 and 2015 they intentionally made the new stuff not as reliable as the older stuff. Basically so people like Kristy and myself all "trade up or trade in" for a new Apple vs. repairing. Economics shows you cannot build a hundred billion dollar company (maybe trillion dollar now?) If what they sell never quits working! That keeps a revenue cap on the profits, obviously. So I think Apple figured If they build "pretty good" but go crazy with cutting edge marketing then that will make more sense to get the company's value to exactly what it is today. So, if you think that could be so then you really cannot believe the mothership. That goes for repairs too. However, Rossmann is someone you CAN believe, not only about his opinion about the mothership and his take on what garbage they build now BUT he will really be truthful about what is really wrong with your computer. Hard to believe that, I know.So, despite what I believe is truth about executive decisions within the Apple organization and their quality issues of today a well running Apple computer (when it runs perfectly) when comparing it to a Dell All in One (not cheap either) and is like having two cars in your garage; a Mercedes Benz E 350 and a Chevrolet Malibu. That's about as spot on as I can be. Apple's crap is still better than others. But note this: they will always lie about their quality and they will definitely always try to get you to buy another one instead of repair. So, you gotta have an advocate who gets it - Rossmann Repair Group is that place.Rossmann will fix your stuff! When I got mine back from NY (packaged perfectly) I was like - man - what a relief to have found someone who is not loaded with BS and just wants to sell you new (or refurb) and give you basically nothing for yours (so they can piece it). Not here! These guys are so extremely trustworthy and straight up with everything. They are fast. The prices I have gotten are reallly fair. My "end to end" experience with Rossmann Repair can be summed up as this - I won't ever let anyone else ever touch my computer except Rossmann! "A++" "100%!!" these are what I instantly type when I think of my overall experience. I shipped from Houston to NY and had mine back and working perfectly within a week. The Apple Store at the Galleria Houston told me I needed a $620 logic board for their 3 year old laptop. DO YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY WAS WRONG? All I needed was to have my MagSafe port on the laptop replaced. That was it. Rossmann charged $75 as their total bill and that laptop has ran like a wildcat since I got it back. It also had a once over by them and was told it performs perfectly and it still does over a year later!If you can read my rant here and process what I wrote IF you don't send your Apple to Rossmann, you deserve what you get and you must be "developmentally disabled" (that's the "new retarded"). Good luck to you and thank you Rossmann for being the real! There should be more like you all! read less

Rossmann group fixed it would Q-tips and didn't charge me anything! just told me "next time bring in something really broken". Will tell all my friends to go here for tech need! They're so honest and great with their services that they really deserve the incredible ratings. I brought in one of my computers for water damage- when I took it to Rossmann's, they truthfully told me that the cost of fixing the computer would outweigh the benefits of buying a new one, and even advised me on the best models of macs and PCs to consider! I'll be taking all my mac repairs here and telling my friends to do the same :) read less

It got worse and worse over the years... read moreI've got a mid 15" 2010 MacBook Pro that has been suffering from the known GPU kernel panic for a long while. It got worse and worse over the years until I could barely use the computer. I use the free app gfxCardStatus which allows you to manually switch between the integrated and discrete GPUs. Sometimes I could prevent a crash if I could switch back to integrated before it kernel panicked, but not always. Apparently the problem lies with a capacitor that stops working as intended, and needs to be replaced. I can do basic soldering but surface mount stuff isn't my forte.I decided to get a quote from Rossmann Repair. I was familiar with them from YouTube. I packed up my computer and sent it off to their shop in NYC after opening a ticket on their website. Only took a few days to verify the problem, and I OK'd the work. Received my computer back a few days later, well packaged. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! My computer is in absolutely perfect working order again. They were quick, and very professional throughout. Many thanks to Louis and his employees at Rossmann Repair! read less

Funny thing about good service, there’s no “oh, please leave us a review!!” or “hey, we’ll give you TEN PERCENT OFF if you write a review RIGHT NOW!!!” nonsense. We don’t need it. We always saw that kinda thing as bottomfeeding, and there’s no shortage of it nowadays.
