ROSSMANN GROUP SAVED MY 2010 MACBOOK PRO! My 2010 MacBook Pro was on it's last leg. It had gotten to a point where it would shut down & restart 3 times within 10 mins of use. I had replaced the memory & upgraded my hard drive, neither of which fixed the incessant kernel panics (shutdown-restarts). In my desperation to save my really old computer, I searched the internet for weeks & eventually found Rossmann on YouTube. I watched a lot of their videos & decided to ship my computer to them in hopes that they could fix it by replacing the crap capacitor*. I shipped my MacBook out to Rossmann on a Monday & it arrived in their NYC shop two days later. Rossmann immediately fixed it upon arrival (same day!) & invoiced me. I didn't check my email until Thursday, which is when I paid their invoice & they shipped the computer back out to me. I received my MacBook that following Monday, but had I checked my email on Wednesday, I would have received it on Saturday, just 5 days after shipping it out for repair. The turnaround was incredibly fast & my computer has been running like new with daily use since I got it back a few weeks ago. I'm so thankful I found Rossmann Group's informative YouTube videos about MacBook Pro's kernel panics. The repair was less than 1/10 what a new MacBook Pro would have cost, literally saving me well over $2,000. I'll never take my MacBook to Apple or another shop for repair again, local or not. We are forever Rossmann customers! *NOTE: Even though it's a very affordable & quick repair, the MacBook capacitor issue isn't well-known or something that Apple advertises. Our local computer repair shops weren't even aware of it! I was basically told by 2 local shops that my MacBook wasn't repairable & I needed to get a new computer. Meanwhile, Rossmann fixed it in a matter of minutes! If you're up in the air on whether or not shipping your computer is worth it, I'm here to tell you that it is 100% worth shipping to Rossmann. I just got my Macbook Pro back from RRG. I have to say I was overjoyed and honestly getting my Macbook Pro back was the one time I felt pure joy in a while. I caught Louis on the phone a couple of the times that I called and he is super nice, incredibly nice to customers. I called in to tell him I wanted rush service and he noted that I approved $45 rush service. I called the beginning of the next week to see what the status was because it had been delivered on Thursday. Louis said they were in the middle of replacing the battery now, and then within the hour I got an email saying it was done. They did not charge me the rush service charge, which I didn't realize until after I paid and it shipped, but the was a duplicated repair charge on the invoice that I called and noted to them, which they promptly fixed. This leads me to believe that they waived the rush charge. These guys are awesome and made a daunting experience of being without my Macbook Pro for a week super easy. In contrast-- Geek Squad (Best Buy) said they needed to send it off to Apple for a month, and Microcenter, while I'm very impressed that they were able to do it in store, wanted $500 for the repair, which $300 of that was Apple's charge for the battery, that they're forced to use because they are an AASP. My understanding is they replace the whole backing and not just the battery. But here's the thing-- regardless of both places and even though all my data is backed up on the cloud, I simply did not trust to leave my Macbook Pro with either Microcenter (because they are an AASP only, because they're an awesome store with very capable people) or *shudder* Best Buy. Thank you so much Louis for being awesome, and all the rest of the guys. I don't know who the other guys were I spoke with but everyone was incredibly kind.

I consulted Rossmann Repair Group for data recovery services. A new IT client was recently referred to me, because his main computer crashed and his business database went offline as a result. It turned out that the computer crashed because its main storage, a 500 GB Solid State Hybrid Drive, failed. That part was easy - replace it with a new 1 TB SSD and reinstall Windows along with the software he uses. However, the data on the SSHD was critical and would have meant serious problems for his business if he didn't get that back. That's where Rossmann Repair Group came in. Hard drive came back perfectly. I think it took a bit long for Rossman group to get the motherboard, but that may be partially my fault due to buying a board and then realizing it was incompatible. Everything was excellent, only complaint was that I had to scratch off a sticker, but it's literally nothing to worry about. Still kinda wondering if the store is an advertisement for the youtube channel or if the youtube channel is an advertisement for the store. Either way 5/5

My laptop was ruined from water leakage in my bag and I was so worried that all of my data would be gone. I went to Apple and they said to buy a completely new laptop, which is costly. Brought my 2017 macbook air in today after Apple's "genius" bar told me last week I needed a new logic board. Someone recommended bringing it here to see if they could repair it. I came in thinking I'd pay $250 for a logic board repair but one of the guys working took it apart, cleaned some dirt out of the keyboard/trackpad and sent me on my way(with no charge!!!) Cant believe im writing this on my mac after I almost bought a whole new machine. Wish I had more cash on hand to leave these guys a bigger tip. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive!!! (also appreciate them taking precautions against covid-everyone was wearing masks)

I can't wait to tell people about my trip to Rossmann Repair Group™®©°.I walked in there to ask quotes on replacing an old HHD in my laptop with a new SSD.The second I walked in I KNEW this place was ~special~."What up Rossman?" I bellowed as I entered, despite never being a customer before."What it is, NERD" retorted Rossman, decked out in some weird mixture of a dog and raver-clown costume.While I tried explaining that I was looking to replace my HHD with an SSD he interrupted and said "hold on a minute", and immediately jumped the counter and started rolling around on the floor, ecstatically, like some sort of mad man."I'm a pew-pew roller coaster on my way to tinsel town, and not a hogwash in a tornado can stop me!" he exclaimed.He then made "airplane noises" as he went around and around on the floor.I was shocked and amused."I'll puck off every straw kettle this side of the Mason Dixie line! Even the spanked tangerine ones! I ain't no bigot!" he continued.I didn't know what to think.Just then another customer entered the store.Rossman jumped up and loudly stomped up to the customer, very child-like."I am very mister business man to meet you" Rossman said, as he stuck out his hand in a shaking gesture.But the costumer just collapsed into gleaming sands! No kidding!Rossman turned to me in amazement and said "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS? If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. The Apple Genius wanted twice the price and 10 weeks to fix my Macbook Pro.
