5 star ratingI used Rossmann Repair Group as a mail-in customer in the past. They are the best of the best. They are honest and incredibly skilled. I had some hard to replace videos on a MacBook that went bad and they got in there and managed to get my data back. Saved me a few weeks of edits and the prices are reasonable - its not the cheapest but its clear that the quality of the work being done. I hope that Rossmann Repair Group can expand into more lines of repair - I'd love for Rossmann Repair Group to end up being the place to bring anything worth saving with an electric cord or a power brick. Rossmann Repair Group also has free sessions where you can bring anything in and they will help you repair, solder, reflow and diagnose anything you can carry in.

I took my iPhone 6 Plus with a motherboard completely damaged took it to other technicians that were specialist in motherboards and no one could’ve get my data recovered or fix my phone to power back on these people of (Rossmann Repair Group) got the phone fully repaired and in perfect working order and also backed up all my data in to a new hard drive . I had all of our pictures backed up twice, except for 2017 and 2018. As I was uploading originals to the cloud, my drive died. And there went 2 years, four daughters' middle school and high school memories, and my heart was broken. Two separate repair shops looked at our drive....one of which likely also damaged it further....to no avail. Rossman was recommended by our local guy after he said it was not something he could do. Steve came through. It took time, and patience, and I fully expected for him to give up, but he didn't. He finally fixed it, did it at a price that was way too reasonable, and I now have our memories back. I would unequivocally recommend Rossman. They were honest, fair, and hardworking to the end.

Visited old location in February 2020. I thought I had a complicated issue with an iPhone, and a need to move gigs of data from it. It turned out I was wrong. The friendly staff at Rossman Repair Group were understanding and kind in their handling of my problem, which had a very simple solution Never once was I lead towards spending unnecessary money on data recovery. 5 star ratingI have a 8+ year old MacBook Air, it completely shut off on me and I was devastated since I have a ton of important business files that weren't backed up. I contacted Apple Tech through chat and we troubleshooted with negative results. The Tech set up an appointment with their Apple Store Genius Bar. I went over to the appointment and the individual at the Genius Bar couldn't help me and basically did everything the previous tech over chat had me do. The Genius Bar tech told me there was nothing that could really be done since its considered a "vintage" device. I could try to have it repaired by them but there is a flat rate and there will be a high chance that the data will be lost. I couldn't take that chance and loose the data. One of my friends gave me Rossmann's information. I contacted them and Kevin told me to bring it over. I was there less than 15 minutes, the tech did some minor work and got my MacBook Air to turn on! Also told me there was no charge! I couldn't believe it after coming out of the Apple Store loosing my mind due to the potential data loss! These Guys at Rossmann are truly honest individuals! They were responsive, went above and beyond to answer our question and provide advice/consulting on our issue. While at the end of the day we received the same answer as other vendors we talked to (our data would not be recoverable) they were the only one who took the time to give us a detailed understanding of why and what the limitations were of recovering data from a device after it had been factory reset.

I just got my Macbook Pro back from RRG. I have to say I was overjoyed and honestly getting my Macbook Pro back was the one time I felt pure joy in a while. I caught Louis on the phone a couple of the times that I called and he is super nice, incredibly nice to customers. I called in to tell him I wanted rush service and he noted that I approved $45 rush service. I called the beginning of the next week to see what the status was because it had been delivered on Thursday. Louis said they were in the middle of replacing the battery now, and then within the hour I got an email saying it was done. They did not charge me the rush service charge, which I didn't realize until after I paid and it shipped, but the was a duplicated repair charge on the invoice that I called and noted to them, which they promptly fixed. This leads me to believe that they waived the rush charge. These guys are awesome and made a daunting experience of being without my Macbook Pro for a week super easy. In contrast-- Geek Squad (Best Buy) said they needed to send it off to Apple for a month, and Microcenter, while I'm very impressed that they were able to do it in store, wanted $500 for the repair, which $300 of that was Apple's charge for the battery, that they're forced to use because they are an AASP. My understanding is they replace the whole backing and not just the battery. But here's the thing-- regardless of both places and even though all my data is backed up on the cloud, I simply did not trust to leave my Macbook Pro with either Microcenter (because they are an AASP only, because they're an awesome store with very capable people) or *shudder* Best Buy. Thank you so much Louis for being awesome, and all the rest of the guys. I don't know who the other guys were I spoke with but everyone was incredibly kind.

Extremely knowledgeable staff that care about fixing your device for far less than it would cost to replace it. Don't act like a jerk in here just because you are frustrated that your expensive machine is broken. The lady in front of me literally had her problem diagnosed (case opened, board examined, hard drive and ram tested) for free, mind you, only to discover that the issue was just her broken charger cable. She was complaining that they didn't contact her promptly during the Thanksgiving holiday. She was acting anxiously and kept trying to blame them until she found out she didn't owe them any money; then she ran out. Don't act like that. These are smart people that are trying to help you.

I teach at a gifted school and am dependent on a sturdy 7-year-old MacBook Pro purchased with a parents association grant. I use it for lecture, lessons, student presentations and all of my grading and internet at school. I had dropped the computer and it would not charge afterward. I called apple and they abandoned me. Their authorized repair people referred me to Louis before they abandoned me too. I showed up late on a Tuesday at his store frantic and worn out because this is my busiest time of the academic year. Frightened I would have to leave the computer there, Louis overheard me explaining I didn’t want the hard drive accidentally wiped and proceeded to start to analyze the problem. Then he gingerly opened up my tired computer and hooked power up from the inside, determined it was fixable and had some jolly guy in the back room hammer out the case for me while I waited. Then he put it all back together better than Humpty Dumpty and sent me on my way. I kept asking to pay him and he kept saying I could leave a tip if I wanted. I left a modest tip and thanked him and his really nice staff a few more times. I have never met anyone like this man. Yes Louis Rossmann is a true genius, unlike the misnomer coveted by apple technicians who are demeaning and often ineffective. Louis is talented, patient, and kind. And he’s a good teacher too. He treated my computer like it was a person and he treated me with dignity for wanting to rescue it. I hope he does well in his business. He seems happy but it bothers me that he says people are not quick to thank him. I wish more people knew the joys of being in the presence of his greatness and leaving so relieved you have your computer back that the rainstorm outside that night doesn’t annoy you. Thank you Louis, and I wish you deep happiness in your life. Keep up the greatness. If you ever need anything let me know.

5 star ratingI walked in with my dead Macbook Pro Tuesday (randomly wouldn't turn on or charge) and Louis and his team were so helpful! At first they opened it up and said that the logic board needed to be replaced but were willing to see if the current one could be salvaged first. I left and came back and in an hour my Macbook was good as new!!!! Apple told me it would be better to just buy a whole new Macbook, so glad I came here first! Highly recommend for all your Apple repair needs.

5 star ratingI like his YouTube channel, sent my iPad in for screen repair, and am very happy with his repair service. My only complaint is the USPS delivery who has started leaving boxes at the curb by my driveway. As an Amazon seller I have shifted to UPS, a little more expensive but better delivery drivers. The Stamps.com rate is better than I could get going direct with UPS, but price vs USPS is lower when shipping East Coast, to East Coast, it is a little more on West Coast. Rossmann is 5 star.

I was a LaCie user for four years when an accidental drop from my desk resulted in LOSING all access to my drive. So much for the "durable" orange protective casing. All of my client's projects and years of work lost in a second. I was desperate and like many others, immediately googled and youtubed as many solutions as I could find. I tried everything short of breaking the manufacturer seal. As it turns out, dropping a LaCie while it's running can sometimes damage the internal heads that read your data. Your options are a deadly 50/50 chance of success DIY or Rossman. I needed to know I had done my best to recover all the data so I sent my drive to Rossman. They were incredible from the start. In my panic I sent my package to the wrong address, THEY PICKED IT UP FOR ME. They informed me every step of the way where they were in the process of recovering my data. 5 weeks later and I just received my drive back with 95% of everything on my LaCie. If you need your data recovery done right choose Rossman.
