5 star ratingI had a MacBook Air that died. Thankfully, I had watched a number of Louis Rossmann videos on YouTube and thought that his group would be the people for the job. I shipped my laptop off to Austin, within a few hours of receiving it, I was assigned a number and kept up to date on the progress. The laptop was repaired in about three business days, packed, and returned to me as good as new! Had I sent it to an "authorized" Apple repair center, they would have been required to replace the logic board, resulting in a complete loss of data! Thankfully, they know how to actually repair computers! I didn't have to lose any data ... it was all intact! That's a great win! The repair cost $425, which was actually less than the $464 at an authorized repair shop, to replace the entire logic board. For sure, if I have other issues, right back to Austin it will go! My only knock, and it's a small one is that the communication is not great when replying to the service ticket to ask questions. I'm still giving five stars though because 4.75 won't work!

I have a 8+ year old MacBook Air, it completely shut off on me and I was devastated since I have a ton of important business files that weren't backed up. I contacted Apple Tech through chat and we troubleshooted with negative results. The Tech set up an appointment with their Apple Store Genius Bar. I went over to the appointment and the individual at the Genius Bar couldn't help me and basically did everything the previous tech over chat had me do. The Genius Bar tech told me there was nothing that could really be done since its considered a "vintage" device. I could try to have it repaired by them but there is a flat rate and there will be a high chance that the data will be lost. I couldn't take that chance and loose the data. One of my friends gave me Rossmann's information. I contacted them and Kevin told me to bring it over. I was there less than 15 minutes, the tech did some minor work and got my MacBook Air to turn on! Also told me there was no charge! I couldn't believe it after coming out of the Apple Store loosing my mind due to the potential data loss! These Guys at Rossmann are truly honest individuals! Great company. I send an e-mail asking if they take international repairs for an MBP 2017. Since the international shipping and handling would be a huge chunk of the bill they suggested some data recovery tricks i had not tried yet (lifeboat connector). Using their suggestions I managed to recover the data on my own. Obviously their advice was priceless. All the rumors are true, these guys are legends. Thanks!

5 star ratingI had all of our pictures backed up twice, except for 2017 and 2018. As I was uploading originals to the cloud, my drive died. And there went 2 years, four daughters' middle school and high school memories, and my heart was broken. Two separate repair shops looked at our drive....one of which likely also damaged it further....to no avail. Rossman was recommended by our local guy after he said it was not something he could do. Steve came through. It took time, and patience, and I fully expected for him to give up, but he didn't. He finally fixed it, did it at a price that was way too reasonable, and I now have our memories back. I would unequivocally recommend Rossman. They were honest, fair, and hardworking to the end.

They are the best, they fixed my computer, which I thought it was a lost case! I spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro, it was a lot of coffee! I took it to an apple approved repair shop and they told me that it was going to cost me more than a new computer, and that I should consider it a total loss. At this point I had no warranty, I did not buy a protection plan, and the computer was only 1 year old. At least I needed to recover my data, and this apple approved place told me it was going to be $2,100. I decided to ship my laptop to the Rossmann Repair Group, and they did an amazing job communicating with me about any updates. They estimated to repair it for $700, and then told me it was only going to cost me $425. I was very happy. They shipped it back for free, and now I have my computer working "almost perfectly" (some keys are a little sticky, and the mouse pad a little sensible), but I have all my data, which I immediately saved into an external hard drive. I highly recommend them.

The biggest problem was that it hadn't been backed up in a long time and there 5000+ photos and videos of our kids were potentially lost.I sent it in to RRG and got a call from Kevin (who was the tech who was actually going to be handling my repair). He was great, forthcoming with the plan, and very polite.Bottom line? Got my phone back with all the data still intact (apps, contacts, photos, videos, settings) working 100%, AND got a flash drive with the photos and videos on it.Thanks guys!

I traveled two and a half hours each way to take my laptop in to Rossmann Repair Group because I was so impressed with the skill and expertise displayed in Louis Rossmann's YouTube channel (in addition to its hilariousness and occasionally brilliant wit and wisdom). It was important to me to go to a repair store that I had trust and confidence in. Louis and his colleagues were extraordinarily diligent, professional, thorough, transparent and went far above and beyond what was necessary and greatly exceeded my expectations. This was literally the best customer service experience I can remember by far. I would recommend Rossmann Repair Group to anyone without reservations. Louis and his colleagues are also among the most uncompromisingly ethical professionals I've ever met - as another reviewer pointed out, they literally invest huge amounts of uncompensated time to educate customers on how systematically faulty MacBooks are despite having a business model reliant on people continuing to buy them. Seriously, if you care about your computer, time, money, data, etc., I wouldn't risk going anywhere else for MacBook repair.

AMAZING. I talked to a few other places before coming here. The final price I paid here was half of what I was quoted at the other place, insanely FAST (a few days vs. 6-8 days) AND SO MUCH MORE CLEAR in their diagnosis and process! The Rossmann Group is the best. First, I went to Dr. Brendan's on St.Marks. My computer sat there for a while- even though they mention a 24hr diagnosis period and I called them to ask about what happened. Super poor communication at Dr.Brendan from my experience. Also their quote was around $800 and timing was 6-8 days. This all felt super wrong, and I decided I might should take the laptop somewhere else. My work depends on it! SO I had read all the awesome reviews on google and saw how involved the people at The Rossmann Group were in helping their customers. Went over there on a Sunday. As soon as I showed up the technician opened my computer and told me exactly what was wrong, immediately diagnosed and understood. No smoke and mirrors, no questions unanswered. So amazing! Even though it was a holiday weekend (ie: NYE) the problem was solved by Tuesday night and I picked up my computer Wednesday! Highly recommend this shop! It seriously has taken a huge burden off my back as I launch my new biz in 2019. Computer problem was.... Display went out on my mac book pro after I dropped coffee near it. Other place said I would need a LCD screen replacement and a new logic board. But Rossmann Group opened the computer and showed me that part of the cable that connects the logic board and screen was burned out. So they replaced that for around 460$. Computer works great now!
