Trust the reviews. This place has great customer service, honest pricing and amazing turnaround time. Water spilled on my laptop unbeknownst to me and sat for days. It wouldn't turn on nor charge. I opened it up to find water w/ rust and corrosion and immediately made a Genius Bar appointment then scoured the internet for other solutions since I hadn't backed up my stuff, ever, and didn't want to lose anything. Found the YouTube page much like many others and got an email quote. The next day I took the hour and a half drive because the reviews seemed consistent and I didn't want to hear the bad news I knew I'd get from Apple. Got a brief diagnosis when I got there and later on that night they called and told me it would be an easy fix. Went over pricing with me every step of the way. I had to get a new keyboard, battery and something else I'm not remembering. Total repair cost w/ tax: $598. Dropped off Friday 12/04 for repairs. Picked up Monday 12/07 fixed. Highly recommend for water damage issues.

They are the best, they fixed my computer, which I thought it was a lost case! I spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro, it was a lot of coffee! I took it to an apple approved repair shop and they told me that it was going to cost me more than a new computer, and that I should consider it a total loss. At this point I had no warranty, I did not buy a protection plan, and the computer was only 1 year old. At least I needed to recover my data, and this apple approved place told me it was going to be $2,100. I decided to ship my laptop to the Rossmann Repair Group, and they did an amazing job communicating with me about any updates. They estimated to repair it for $700, and then told me it was only going to cost me $425. I was very happy. They shipped it back for free, and now I have my computer working "almost perfectly" (some keys are a little sticky, and the mouse pad a little sensible), but I have all my data, which I immediately saved into an external hard drive. I highly recommend them.

AMAZING. I talked to a few other places before coming here. The final price I paid here was half of what I was quoted at the other place, insanely FAST (a few days vs. 6-8 days) AND SO MUCH MORE CLEAR in their diagnosis and process! The Rossmann Group is the best. First, I went to Dr. Brendan's on St.Marks. My computer sat there for a while- even though they mention a 24hr diagnosis period and I called them to ask about what happened. Super poor communication at Dr.Brendan from my experience. Also their quote was around $800 and timing was 6-8 days. This all felt super wrong, and I decided I might should take the laptop somewhere else. My work depends on it! SO I had read all the awesome reviews on google and saw how involved the people at The Rossmann Group were in helping their customers. Went over there on a Sunday. As soon as I showed up the technician opened my computer and told me exactly what was wrong, immediately diagnosed and understood. No smoke and mirrors, no questions unanswered. So amazing! Even though it was a holiday weekend (ie: NYE) the problem was solved by Tuesday night and I picked up my computer Wednesday! Highly recommend this shop! It seriously has taken a huge burden off my back as I launch my new biz in 2019. Computer problem was.... Display went out on my mac book pro after I dropped coffee near it. Other place said I would need a LCD screen replacement and a new logic board. But Rossmann Group opened the computer and showed me that part of the cable that connects the logic board and screen was burned out. So they replaced that for around 460$. Computer works great now!

Apple should thanks them. Apple should move them to a better location, bigger place and properly give them the tools and resources so that they can be at 110% Cant stand Apple products but it is great to have people that can put sweat and tears to give you top level services even when they are being held down by corporations like Apple. You can rest asure they will try everything to have your Apple product see the light of day again. 100% recommend this place. I was stressed out studying for my exams and ended up dropping and then spilling day-old soup all over my 6-month old Macbook Pro that cost $2000. The keyboard and then screen stopped working. I sent it to a local shop and they said nothing could be done, but I saw that Rossmann had a mail-in option. I was initially skeptical but sent in my laptop as a last-ditch effort to try to recover my laptop. They responded quickly and told me about what had gone wrong in my laptop, and fixed it so it works now! Plus, the computer is not able to turn off when the lid is closed, so they counted it as unfixable and didn't even charge me for the repair. I paid $30 to rescue a $2000 computer! Thanks so much for being the most decent shop I've ever encountered. I will be returning as long as I own Macs.

5 star ratingI wasn't able to retrieve files off an external hard drive and the first estimate was $350 to $2500 (they said it had to go back to the manufacturer). Rossman was referred baby a friend and I was able to retrieve all my information. It was pricey (not $2,500!!) but worth it. I was very happy with the service.

I stumbled on my daughter's 2012 MacBook Pro that she had been told (years ago) was beyond repair. I powered it up and a little research led me to guess that the hard drive was dead or not being seen. So I sent a note with that assumption to Rossman Repair Group. They said it could be the hard drive or it could be the drive cable which is a known issue with this model - $100 to repair if that's what it is. I gambled and paid $13 to ship it. For retail customers, Rossman will diagnose, outline the problem, and provide an estimate for free. They confirmed it was the cable and they needed the OS password to further test the operating system to make sure that it boots (loads to your desktop). I did not have the password so I asked if they could use the password reset? They replied "We wouldn't be able to reset the password, but we can wipe it and reinstall a new OS with a new password if you'd like. The hard drive cable is indeed bad on this device, with a new cable the hard drive does show up." I got it back (free return shipping), since the hard drive now shows up I was able to reset the PW and it looks to be running perfectly! Total repair cost $113.

Great experience. These guys know what they are doing and are so honest, it is almost scary. I sent them a hard drive for data recovery and was informed that a recovery might be possible, but was highly unlikely. I watched one of their videos on YouTube and it made perfect sense why. 5 star ratingI was getting an unmountable boot volume error that was just unrecoverable from. It's an old computer that had served me well. It had been SO consistent over the years I had gotten lazy with backups and was nowhere near current. I was given a quote after diagnosis for recovery of data place on a new external drive. I told them specifically what folders to aim for and as it turned out the were able to recover the entire root structure in the format I requested so I just need to copy my old document, video, picture and music files onto a new computer I purchased as a replacement once I got the bad news of its passing. What rocks is that I now have my files back. AND a new external hard drive to use as my backup and a reminder to never forget that lesson. (Can you say automatic back ups?) Thanks Kevin and crew. Oh... and they said it was easier than expected and reduced the quote to reflect the time they saved on the easier recovery.Lastly, they were kind, listened, timely for this kind if work which is very time intensive and had a very conscious "no contact" in and out process that is SO appreciated at this time. All I can say is.. WOW. I spilled water on my laptop and couldn't find anywhere that would fix it, I kept thinking I would have to pay $1000+ for data recovery (always backup your files, kids) and thankfully I found Rossmann! I mailed it in right away! They do water damage, no problem. Patrick was great and super helpful through the process and made everything smooth sailing. They also fixed my Mac within 48 hours and shipped it right back out to me. It was like all I did was shutdown the computer! Everything is here, everything is till in its place, and I didn't have to buy a new laptop OR pay for data recovery.
