GO HERE, no scams & good advice (Spoke with Kevin)! Had an issue with my hard drive, went to a place called Mikes Repair Shop in Chelsea, they were trying to charge me way more. Got a second option at Rossmann, come to find out that the issue was as simple as getting a different cord. Saved me $170 which was what Mikes Repair place was trying to charge + 2-3 day process to get it fixed. Anyways recommend coming to Rossmann 100%!

Five weeks ago, my 10 year old daughter's 5th gen iPad stopped charging. My husband and I suspected a loose connection, but when we took it to Apple, they ran some test and concluded the logic board died. Since the iPad was set up under me when she got it (at the age of 6), I had disconnected her from *my* iCloud. Apple basically couldn't sell me a new iPad because we had no data backup. Based on Apple's recommendation, we sent it to their data recovery partner, DriveSavers, who quoted me $2800 for data recovery due to "widespread corruption" on her logic board. We declined. Enter the Rossmann Repair Group. Earlier this week, I got a call asking me what specifically was wrong with the iPad because they were able to turn it on, and had access to all the data. To say I was floored is a complete understatement - but 100% explains why the Find Me app showed my daughter's iPad location as CA, when it had a "corrupted" logic board… *eye roll* Rossmann Repair Group gave me a copy of my daughter's data for $100, on a storage device I did not have to pay for, AND fixed her home button and cracked screen for another $100. They shipped it back to me for free. $200 and it was done. I would tipped if there was a virtual tip jar... so happy!! ;) I feel completely misled by Apple, and we were flat out lied to by DriveSavers. But Rossmann Repair Group was honest, kind, and reasonable. I feel like they completely came to our rescue. I wish you could have seen the smile on my daughter's face when she got her iPad back. My heart swelled. To David, the tech who fixed it, thank you so much. Because of you, we are Rossmann Repair Group customers for life.

I don’t leave reviews often, but this one is definitely warranted. My Mac died on me and all the computer repair shops told me there was slim chance of recovering data. I had a lot of very important info on my computer, so I did some research and found the Rossmann Repair Group. Not only did they recover my data, but were able to get my computer working again. They deserve more than 5 stars, thank you so much for saving my laptop!! Will definitely be using them in future if I have other issues with my other devices.

Phenomenal repair shop! My moms Macbook pro 16 with coffee spills was pretty much done for, we were heart broken so much money down the drain, luckily my brother stumbled upon this shop online. They live in Chicago, mind you they took a hige leap of faith to mail it in. Long srory short they fixed it at a fraction of what it would cost -600 bucks! For coffee spills they usually switch mother boards ect and you get a bill similar to the price of the computer. They are super transparent about the process. In todays age very few places you can blindly trust, and why i would highly recommend Rossmans to any one around the country, they literally saved my mom from a $2800 loss, so happy! Months down the line im trying to swap out my hard drive in my 21.5 imac and finding the right tape is tricky. Ive heard heaps of horror story of screens falling off in the middle of the night... Any hoot i called them up and asked them for the info, they not only ready helped me over the phone, they also went ahead and gave me there supplier for the adhesive im looking for! This goes to show what an amazing store this is! Thanks guys you rock!

Knowledgeable, Qualified and Reasonably priced. What more can one ask for? These guys saved me the expense of a new system or Apple's greedy authorized network. I love Apple equipment but if it breaks and you're past Applecare, you may be at the mercy of Apple's mercenary group of authorized repair centers, or if you are lucky enough to find Rossman's, you should get a fair deal.

Taking the glass screen off a 27in iMac for a hard drive replacement was something I didn't want to do myself though there are kits to do - it's risky business. Buying an iMac that is remotely close to what I have is astronomical in price.

Louis Rossman and his well qualified team of real Mac genius' told me to save some money and get a recommended SSD on Amazon and bring it in. Though they said a week to 10 days and looked busy, I received an email 3 days later that my machine was ready. I saw distressed people with damaged laptops and Rossman's team gave them a diagnosis while they waited- or fixed it.

My iMac seems to be working better than new and I will update this if I see otherwise. Louis Rossman makes videos about Apple and the repair industry that I found informative and entertaining - non-authorized reasonably priced places are under siege. He is part of the thread of "urban legends" and I saw one client ask for a selfie with him- A You Tube celebrity but more.

I was victim to a horrible screen repair on an iPad with junk parts done at an unauthorized dealer, which I write about extensively on Yelp. Finding the "right" repair center is critical and with the tools of Social Media- "Yelp" you can do it. I sincerely believe if you come to Rossman- the job will be done right at a fair price. They put a screen protector on my iPad no charge-gratis. Perks of being a customer?

I highly recommend Rossman Repair group. I was told by Apple that my MBP logic board needed to be completely replaced and there was no option for repair and that I would lose all of my data. I was told the same thing by a few local repair shops here in Tampa. After a bit of searching, I came across Rossman. I reached out to them and they said they thought they had a good chance of being able to repair my MBP without losing my data. The mail in process was very easy and efficient. Fortunately, they were able to fix the logic board for basically the same cost as Apple was charging to replace it. The process was easy, the techs were efficient and communicated well. Don’t fall for Apple’s games if you have issues that they claim can’t be repaired. Look into this wonderful company first.

After being a repair person myself, sometimes i have to admit defeat, and when my 2019 MBPro died, knowing who Louis Rossmann, and being an advocate for the right to repair myself, on principal, even if I could just swap a board since my data was backed up, I went to this company. I cannot say I've been happier to use an electronics repair service. My laptop died for really no reason (no drop, no spills, just died after going into sleep) and I sent it off to the repair place, and the laptop came back working. I know they did a component-level repair, something I admit I'm not quite there yet experience wise, and am very impressed with the level of communication, the service, and the repair they did was astounding. Since I felt lazy, also asked if they would install the iFixit battery I had sitting around I hadn't gotten done yet (turns out, I'm also going through cancer treatments while working my normal IT Job @ a major printer company, so very little energy) and the price was more than reasonable to recover what I consider a valuable laptop for me. My battery was installed (Normally a PITA to do) and the laptop was done quickly even though I didn't pay for rush processing. Quicker than I expected. I cannot recommend this place enough. And i'm an IT Pro myself with experience doing electronics and BGA reflows, but I was a bit over my head trying to find what broke and these people managed to do it. And with my data chips soldered in, I know they got the same board working again, and am amazed at their skill as an IT pro company. They don't just swap components, THEY FIX THEM! That is something extremely rare to find, and worse, most of the time it's more expensive. This company is beyond amazing, and I can't think of a better use of my money to support a company that sponsors actually repairing rather than replacing, and does it so well. Came in to get my 4 year old phone's battery replaced, not really expecting them to have the battery in stock but wanting to support an independent repair shop in a world where manufacturers want them dead. I can typically fix my own stuff, but I didn't have the screwdriver I needed to open my phone and the battery had been annoying me for long enough. I figured I'd support a company leading the fight for right to repair and thought I'd probably get told to go somewhere else, but it was worth a shot. Not only did they have the battery in stock, they did the replacement in about 15 minutes for cheaper than Apple with a 1 year warranty on the battery. I didn't have to support a company I hate (apple), I got to support a company whose mission I support, and I walked away with a deal in basically no time. I've always recommended Rossmann Repair Group to people with macbook issues without having personal experience to back it up, now I can say that I, like so many other people, have had a good experience here. Hopefully I don't need repair anytime soon, but if I do, I know where I'll be coming.

Unfortunately, they weren't able to help with our specific issue but they were great to speak with over the phone. They were responsive, went above and beyond to answer our question and provide advice/consulting on our issue. While at the end of the day we received the same answer as other vendors we talked to (our data would not be recoverable) they were the only one who took the time to give us a detailed understanding of why and what the limitations were of recovering data from a device after it had been factory reset.

I cannot say enough good things about Rossman Repair Group. Amazing value for the money, outstanding customer service, quick turnaround. If you have a broken Macbook, this is the place to go. A friend spilled water on their Macbook and it wouldn't power on. A local shop quoted them $3500 (!!!) just to attempt to recover the data. So my friend reached out to me and asked if there was anything I could do. I did some homework and found out that this particular Macbook (as with many Macs) had its SSD soldered to the board. So data recovery would indeed be a challenge. But $3500? Ridiculous. After I determined that I could not perform the repair or recovery myself, I came across Rossman Repair Group. While they are in Texas, their mail-in service is clearly a big part of their business, and the estimate for data recovery was literally 90% less than what the local shop wanted - $350 plus shipping. Their online service for setting up the repair and mailing it in was top notch - they have clearly been doing this for a long time. Communication was outstanding, with a tech reaching out every step of the way and clearly describing what was possible, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. Even their terms of service are written in Plain English and not Inscrutable Legalese! $370 later, I got my friend's data back, in a little over a week from the time I mailed the computer out. That price included the data extraction, the portable drive to hold the recovered data, and return shipping.

Been watching on youtube for a long time and eventually it was my turn to use his data recovery services. I was expecting to pay over $1000 for the data on my phone but it ended up being less than that. Shipping to and from was fast and the instructions and process to restore the data was simple to follow. A million thanks for getting my photos back!

Apple should thanks them. Apple should move them to a better location, bigger place and properly give them the tools and resources so that they can be at 110% Cant stand Apple products but it is great to have people that can put sweat and tears to give you top level services even when they are being held down by corporations like Apple. You can rest asure they will try everything to have your Apple product see the light of day again. 100% recommend this place. I sent in an external hard drive that bricked on me. Its a drive I plug in once a year, dump phone videos, photos, and then back on the shelf til next year. This year I went to free up some space and found the drive wouldn't respond. It had the first 10 years of my daughter growing up and I was freaking out. I had almost accepted they were gone until a friend at work mentioned RRG. I crossed my fingers and sent in the drive, not expecting good news (or some astronomical fee that would force me to put a price on those memories). Instead I got a call a few days after mailing saying not only could they repair the drive, but for a fraction of the cost I was expecting. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing any services they provide.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Rossmann Repair Group in NYC one day almost two years ago as friends of mine needed an evaluation of a broken Macbook Pro, a bad hard drive and possible data transfer. Louis Rossmann greeted us immediately and was very friendly and patient. He told us exactly what the problem was and said that the Macbook Pro was beyond repair due to bad GPU connections. In fact he saw this as soon as he turned it on, he could detect very faint lines on the screen which indicated this issue. He was very honest about this, he said that some places would get it to work for a while by heating it up and charging a few hundred dollars, but that the repair would not last long and it would certainly fail again. My friend asked him if he could transfer the data from the Macbook to a Mac Mini so it would work like the Macbook. He said he could and it would take a couple of days. We returned a few days later to pick everything up. The cost was very reasonable and my friends were very satisfied with the service. He gave the bad HD back to us, said it would require sending to a recovery center. Just honest. No ripoffs. In this tech repair industry, dishonesty is very common since tech people know the average person has no clue about any of this technology and there is almost no chance they would know if they are being fooled or how much the repair is really worth. I know this well since I also do computer and electronics repair and support myself and I know how easy it would be to fool customers left and right! I don't do this and I highly appreciate other tech experts who aren't tempted to profit from people's trust and innocence! So in summary, if you don't want to get ripped of and lied to, and are looking for a highly competent reliable technician, make sure you go here with your Mac equipment. If you like, you can stop by an Apple Genius bar first for a good laugh, while they give you the wrong diagnosis, quote you an insanely high repair price, and try to convince you to buy a whole new unit. Finally, if you want to be amazed, look for Louis Rossmann on YouTube and watch some of his videos where he shows exactly how he repairs the "unrepairable" and inspires many others to do their own repairs, start their own repair businesses and with his tireless entrepreneurial positive attitude even motivates disillusioned young students to not give up on school and go to college! (In fact one student said he was about to give up on education but after watching Louis on YouTube he made the decision to enter Med school! Now that's remarkable!) Louis is such a great guy, that in some cases where the issue is very minor, like a bad cable, he even does the repair for no charge! Try to find anybody who is willing to do anything for no charge these days! (The Genius bar would certainly tell you that your unit has been water damaged, when it wasn't, (maybe was in a humid room which would turn the water indicators red!) and quote you $1000 for a repair that would cost them $7 for the cable) Louis Rossmann is a hero, one of those rare individuals who make positive contributions to individuals and society every single day. I am pretty sure that anybody who gives him a bad review probably either is part of Apple, or considers Apple to be some kind of religious deity.
