I would absolutely recommend Rossmann Repair Group. Very professional, and I was able to get everything I needed off of my broken hard drive. There's no question, if you need computer/hard drive help, Rossmann Repair Group is the best.

I cannot recommend working with these guys enough. A few weeks back, my 2018 Mac randomly crashed while traveling. I visited the Apple Store who offered a misdiagnosed issue and quoted me $600 for a external service that would wipe my data clean. I found the Rossmann Group online and took a leap of faith - and it paid off in heaps. They were incredibly communicative and fixed the issue in a straightforward, economical, and honest way - and the data was preserved as original. Cannot recommend them enough!

My USB-C MacBook Pro recently stopped charging. The local Apple Store wanted to replace the whole logic board, which was expensive and would have lost all my data. I asked them if it was the charging circuit and they specifically said "no".

I mailed my Mac to Rossmann, and they correctly identified the problem as being the charging circuit after all. The repair was cheaper than Apple, was just as fast, and (because it didn't require replacing the logic board) I got to keep all of my data.

Overall I couldn't be happier. I used the prepaid shipping box they sell, and the service was smooth and fast.

My client went to a Genius bar and was told he needed a new logic board and it was going to be about 800 dollars. I sent it to Rossmann and they got it fixed for almost a quarter of the Genius Bar price and on top of that my client's data was saved as they were able to repair the board. They did a fantastic job.

My m1 macbook pro decided to take a drink of a full cup of water which resulted in a fried logic board. The team over at Rossman Repair Group managed to get my computer fully repaired and saved the computer in every way. It's like the computer never died. Fully functional, all data right where i left it. It's like it never happened. I paid the rush delivery fee to get my work computer back online faster and these guys did excellent work. Great customer service, and prices are very fair i had no complaints at all this guys go above and beyond the call of duty, my Samsung phone is working amazing again! GO HERE, no scams & good advice (Spoke with Kevin)! Had an issue with my hard drive, went to a place called Mikes Repair Shop in Chelsea, they were trying to charge me way more. Got a second option at Rossmann, come to find out that the issue was as simple as getting a different cord. Saved me $170 which was what Mikes Repair place was trying to charge + 2-3 day process to get it fixed. Anyways recommend coming to Rossmann 100%!

My 2017 WD My Passport external hard drive wasn't functioning and made a beeping noise! We went to a nearby PC and data recovery store that couldn't recover the data and they said it was too difficult and they had issues outsourcing because the task is too difficult!! I was in a panic because ONLY THAT HARD DRIVE HAVE MY UPCOMING SEASON PHOTOSHOOT (aka: I'm screwed at work because we need those photos for our FALL 21 campaigns, ads, social media, website - you cannot imagine!!!) So when I went to pick up my broken hard drive, I quietly (more like whispered to the guy in the front so he won't get in trouble naming a competitor) of who can fix this?The guy gave me one name and it was Rossman Group. I actually asked for more options just for backup but he firmly said Rossman Group.So we went to Chelsea and they immediately provided details of the diagnostics and I paid for the deposit. I followed up in a couple days and... I poured MY HEART OUT TO... SOMONE AT ROSSMAN (sorry I forgot your name). I was desperate and needed assurance that my LIFE's work is able to be recovered!! Of course, nothing is guaranteed but I'm thankful for the free 15 min therapy session with a staff.A few hours later, they told me that it's ready for pick up... I was like, "come again???!!!!" They were able to recover ALL DATA with a new shiny hard drive.THEY SAVED MY LIFE. After being a repair person myself, sometimes i have to admit defeat, and when my 2019 MBPro died, knowing who Louis Rossmann, and being an advocate for the right to repair myself, on principal, even if I could just swap a board since my data was backed up, I went to this company. I cannot say I've been happier to use an electronics repair service. My laptop died for really no reason (no drop, no spills, just died after going into sleep) and I sent it off to the repair place, and the laptop came back working. I know they did a component-level repair, something I admit I'm not quite there yet experience wise, and am very impressed with the level of communication, the service, and the repair they did was astounding. Since I felt lazy, also asked if they would install the iFixit battery I had sitting around I hadn't gotten done yet (turns out, I'm also going through cancer treatments while working my normal IT Job @ a major printer company, so very little energy) and the price was more than reasonable to recover what I consider a valuable laptop for me. My battery was installed (Normally a PITA to do) and the laptop was done quickly even though I didn't pay for rush processing. Quicker than I expected. I cannot recommend this place enough. And i'm an IT Pro myself with experience doing electronics and BGA reflows, but I was a bit over my head trying to find what broke and these people managed to do it. And with my data chips soldered in, I know they got the same board working again, and am amazed at their skill as an IT pro company. They don't just swap components, THEY FIX THEM! That is something extremely rare to find, and worse, most of the time it's more expensive. This company is beyond amazing, and I can't think of a better use of my money to support a company that sponsors actually repairing rather than replacing, and does it so well. Trust the reviews. This place has great customer service, honest pricing and amazing turnaround time. Water spilled on my laptop unbeknownst to me and sat for days. It wouldn't turn on nor charge. I opened it up to find water w/ rust and corrosion and immediately made a Genius Bar appointment then scoured the internet for other solutions since I hadn't backed up my stuff, ever, and didn't want to lose anything. Found the YouTube page much like many others and got an email quote. The next day I took the hour and a half drive because the reviews seemed consistent and I didn't want to hear the bad news I knew I'd get from Apple. Got a brief diagnosis when I got there and later on that night they called and told me it would be an easy fix. Went over pricing with me every step of the way. I had to get a new keyboard, battery and something else I'm not remembering. Total repair cost w/ tax: $598.Dropped off Friday 12/04 for repairs. Picked up Monday 12/07 fixed.Highly recommend for water damage issues.

I was stressed out studying for my exams and ended up dropping and then spilling day-old soup all over my 6-month old Macbook Pro that cost $2000. The keyboard and then screen stopped working. I sent it to a local shop and they said nothing could be done, but I saw that Rossmann had a mail-in option. I was initially skeptical but sent in my laptop as a last-ditch effort to try to recover my laptop. They responded quickly and told me about what had gone wrong in my laptop, and fixed it so it works now! Plus, the computer is not able to turn off when the lid is closed, so they counted it as unfixable and didn't even charge me for the repair. I paid $30 to rescue a $2000 computer! Thanks so much for being the most decent shop I've ever encountered. I will be returning as long as I own Macs.

These guys were super helpful. They did a data transfer for me from a dead 2011 Mac Air to a 2TB external hard drive. They literally made a clone of my hard drive for only $100. Now when I plug in the external to my new laptop, it's like a beautiful little USB of my entire old computer! So great. Apple Genius Bar WILL NOT do this data transfer for you. They only work on your computer if you can turn it on. Totally useless if your logic board is dead. The Rossman Group are real tech geniuses. They take off the back and do the manual work of examining the physical parts. Definitely go here instead of a brand name store.
