You might have to leave your Macbook, but we will give you an assessment of what the liquid spill damaged, and what would need to be fixed, at no charge! If your Macbook is too far damaged to be worth repairing, you can take it back at no cost. If you are local, come to our store. Macbook spill damage is serious because it corrodes sensitive electronic components, but it’s not unfixable. At Apple, you will hear quotes of $750 to $1600 to repair Macbook water damage. Their claim will be that they must replace the entire board with an overpriced tier 3 or tier 4 repair. The reality is that they are not interested in getting their hands dirty fixing the totally reusable parts you already have: it’s easier for them to gouge your wallet by replacing everything.
As soon as you get liquid in your Macbook you should stop using it. Turning it on will just make it worse as this allows electricity to flow through shorted wet components causing it to look like the board in the picture below. Even when the damage is this extensive we can repair it, but it is best to minimize damage so we have a higher likelihood of fixing your board in a reasonable timeframe.

Giving a price without seeing the device, assessing its condition is impossible. Everyone feels better having some basic idea of what things may cost, so for a basic idea, see below. Do realize the + means price can go up! Please do note that drives that have been opened before are rarely if ever recoverable by us: mention this prior to sending it in as we rarely work on pre-worked on drives.

Well Apple Care doesn't care that much unless instead of repair, they'd tell you to buy a mac product. I went in and they suggested it at first. I declined when they told me the price difference for a brand new macbook pro and the price to repair the one I currently possess. Now they said 755 for water damage, and honestly I was at my wit's end. Until I saw their vid, from one to another, I went to the store explained my situation in detail. Price, probable damage, and others, with a fair price. Well I'm writing from said mac, paid less, it was less severe than what Apple thought and I was satisfied completely by Rossman Group's service. I would recommend them to all of my family/friends. Thank You once again.

Trust the reviews. This place has great customer service, honest pricing and amazing turnaround time. Water spilled on my laptop unbeknownst to me and sat for days. It wouldn't turn on nor charge. I opened it up to find water w/ rust and corrosion and immediately made a Genius Bar appointment then scoured the internet for other solutions since I hadn't backed up my stuff, ever, and didn't want to lose anything. Found the YouTube page much like many others and got an email quote. The next day I took the hour and a half drive because the reviews seemed consistent and I didn't want to hear the bad news I knew I'd get from Apple. Got a brief diagnosis when I got there and later on that night they called and told me it would be an easy fix. Went over pricing with me every step of the way. I had to get a new keyboard, battery and something else I'm not remembering. Total repair cost w/ tax: $598.Dropped off Friday 12/04 for repairs. Picked up Monday 12/07 fixed.Highly recommend for water damage issues.read more

Apple wanted 1650 to repair liquid related damage to my 2019 MacBook Pro. I paid 2200 and wasn't about to do that. Very friendly and intuitive. I went in to see if I could repair my friend's water damaged Macbook and if they couldn't fix it, I didn't have to pay anything thing. Unfortunately, it was unsalvageable, and they held true to their word. I didn't have to pay a penny for it. Despite being unable to fix an expensive laptop that I was hoping to see come alive again, I am greatly impressed by the great customer service. The gentleman at the counter helped me quickly diagnose what the issues were, what parts were damages by the water, what had corrosion, etc. If I ever somehow end up owning a MacBook myself, I will definitely be coming to these guys should it fail on me. I found out about them through Reddit and immediately felt comfortable sending my MacBook Air there with how many positive reviews they got through just Reddit. It took maybe a week and a half from the time I sent my computer to when they said it was finished and being shipped back to me! So easy, one simple transaction. I'm not so worried about spilling another water bottle on my computer anymore now that I know it can be fixed. Not saying I'm planning on it but they're great! I'm in disbelief that I'm writing this from my MacBook which I had written off as totaled after a major coffee spill. Took it to a local place that didn't fix motherboards but gave me the tip for Rossman Group. Felt like a long shot mailing my laptop to NYC, but wow such a professional process at a fair price, and if they can't fix it they don't charge you. But they FIXED it. I would give them infinite stars if I could!!!!! Rossmann Repair Group is HONEST, reliable, efficient, and very caring. My Macbook Pro (2017) had an extremely sticky and annoying spacebar and was supposed to be eligible for Apple's free keyboard replacement service, so I took it into an Apple authorized repair shop. That shop took five days to open it after I dropped it off and then called me to say that since the internal liquid sensors went off, Apple would be charging me $1200 flat fee to make "any necessary repairs." So I took it to Rossmann and explained the situation. They first opened up the laptop and assessed the liquid damage. Rossmann assured me that there was no liquid inside the computer and everything would remain fine, they just had to replace my entire keyboard unfortunately. I planned to take the laptop home and think about it, but I turned around and brought it back to Rossmann because I figured the problem wouldn't get any better if I left it alone. They asked me to wait a few minutes in the store while they looked at it, and less than 10 minutes later came back and had fixed the stickiness by tweaking with the spacebar. Rossmann did all this for me FREE OF CHARGE. I will never go to any other computer or phone repair company.

Rossman Hits It Out of the Park Again!!! So this is the 2nd time I have sent a MacBook to Rossman Repair to be fixed. I came across them while frantically looking for someone to repair my MacBook. The first time I had a liquid spill and this time it was a problem with the keypad. Needless to say that the local company that services Apple products where I live wanted to charge me US$1200.00 to replace the entire top case. I called Rossman Repair, sent it via Fedex, of course they could look at it and of course they fixed it for, wait for it... US$250.00 and it's working like a dream. It had nothing to do with the top case. It was a keypad issue. Thanks again Rossman Team. You are absolutely amazing, no fluff, no gimmicks, just a well oiled machine.

I am so so thankful for this company, they fixed my 2015 Mac that I totally thought was dead from water damage (thank you toddler for dumping an entire cup of water on top of it). Speedy repairs and shipping times with prompt communication. Only place for improvement would be the stickers that they put on the devices, they leave a bit of residue when removed, thankfully we had goo gone so not a big deal and so minor that I can barely complain about it.
