Couldn't ask for a better experience. I spilled liquid on my Macbook Air. Two years ago I spilled nail polisher remover all over my 2015 Macbook Pro keyboard because I am an idiot. I thought it was a goner so I didn't bother to take it to the Genius Bar as I figured the cost of repair would be just as high as a new machine. It just sat in a drawer for about a year until my friend in IT highly recommended the Rossman Repair Group. I shipped my laptop to NY from SF expecting to get a high price quote back from them but that was not the case! I gave the green light on the repair and got my laptop back in about a week. The tech who worked on my laptop was responsive and did a great job. It's been about 6 months since the repair and it works great. I highly recommend RRG's services to anyone who needs their Apple products fixed especially if the Apple Genius quote you some non-sense cost of repair or tell you to replace it.

i called two reputable apple repair shops that are still open during this pandemic to fix my macbook pro which had a bit of water damage - rossman & mikey's hook up in williamsburg. i called mikey's first to ask if they could possibly give me a ballpark estimate over the phone and turnaround time. the person who answered was rude, refused to give any sort of pricing, said it would cost $80 just to look at it, and turnaround times are at least 3 weeks right now. then i called rossman's, which is twice as far from me. the person who picked up was professional, took the time to give me a range of ballpark prices depending on different possibilities, said there is no diagnostic fee, and estimated a 5-7 day turnaround. i immediately chose rossman's. the price was reasonable + accurate to what he described, and they got it fixed for me in 3 days. plus there's a warranty. i'm glad i went the extra distance to see these guys and i've already started to recommended them.

These guys are the best in the business. I sent in a MacBook for and analysis to see if my laptop was worth saving from water damage. They gave me a complete detailed report as to why it wasn't. This came in handy when I went to sell the unit for parts on eBay. I copied all the notes and used them in my description so to completely inform the buyer. You get what you pay for and these guys are worth every cent.

Rossman Repair Group saved me over $600 to repair my computer!My MacBook Pro stopped charging and I went to Apple to have it repaired. They were going to charge me a flat fee that came up to around $865 to fix whatever was wrong. Unfortunately, their “water damage indicator” was triggered and they didn’t even check to see what was wrong and instead asked for $1200 to replace the whole motherboard, which would have been almost half the price of a brand new computer and I would have lost all of my data. My boyfriend recommended I try out Rossman Repair Group before I decided to just accept paying Apple that much. He watches their repair videos on YouTube! I sent my computer in and they repaired my computer (my logic board was the issue) for $462!!! For less than half of what Apple was asking, I got my computer fixed promptly, received e-mails from a real person, and my computer works good as new!I really don’t write reviews, especially long ones, but I hope that my story and experience helps other people decide to choose this business!

My MacBook Air got dropped in a body of water and stopped turning on. After getting a consult from a different group, they referred me here as they didn't have the right parts to extract the data from my hard drive. Initial consult took maybe 5-10 minutes of waiting before they told me they would be able to extract the data and move it to a new location (which ended up being my new MacBook Pro) for $100. This was versus the $750 Apple was quoting me and they would need me to ship my laptop to them (no thanks). Initially told me it would take one day. The following day when I called to follow up, they mentioned it may take another day, mostly I believe because they were busy. After letting them know I needed my laptop for work they were able to accommodate me and get it done that same day. Overall, quick/easy/efficient/good price point. The only downside to their reputable nature is that they are quite busy. Fortunately for me, my issue was relatively straightforward. But for a more complex issue their turnaround time will likely be slower, so make sure you let them know your time frame and get a time quote in addition to your $$$ quote for your own planning. Thanks! Will definitely return (but hope I won't have to).

I would give this place and service 10 stars if I could. I spilled the smallest amount of water on my 2015 Macbook Air space bar (the size of a quarter). It was in perfect condition before that. The computer bugged out and shut down. I went to the Apple Genius Bar to get it looked at and hopefully fixed. Though friendly, they did nothing to actually help and just told me that I didn't get water on the hard drive, but since it wasn't turning on, I needed to buy a new laptop - never again will I go there. A friend I was complaining to suggested Rossman Group, which I wasn't far from so I thought it was worth a trip - and it certainly was! I regret not getting the service guy's name, but he assessed the issue and told me I only needed to replace the track pad cable ($75 + tax), while teaching me some things about hardware along the way (i.e. rice does nothing for liquid damage, Macbook Air's after 2017 are garbage, the screw driver to open your computer safely is a WHIA Pentable 4, etc). I've never been so thrilled to spend $75 before - vs. the $1,100 Apple tried to get me out of me for a new machine. My computer was saved and works perfectly as it should. Could not be more grateful - a miracle on First Avenue!

What can I say? These guys are the best at what they do. I brought in a 2019 Macbook Pro that suffered from an entire beer bottle spill. At the end of all the repairs, a month later of getting it back, it kept panicking and shutting off with high cpu usage tasks. They then refunded me the repair costs since it was not able to be saved. I ended up also selling it to them for parts and now happy with my Lenovo. My two friends who I also referred are super happy with their services as well. They are also just finished a hard drive recovery and transferred the data to a new hard drive for me. Top notch service and fairness. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I sent a mail-in repair for a macbook air that had some liquid damage and screen faded in and out. I can honestly say that all the Mac technicians here in California said it wasnt a repairable issue were proven wrong by Steve and Rossmann Group! This Repair Shops is the best, same as Louis Rossmann YouTube channel. *I know that Rosemann Repair Group doesn't offer "Original Apple parts" for those replacement but they offers the best quality NEW parts for those replacement, honestly I don't care either is original or not as long I'm able to use my iPhone 6s Plus*. All parts that the Rossmann Repair Group offers is mostly NEW from the third party. They also have great customer service and they actually told you the estimate cost of the product repairs unlike other repairs shops who don't tell you untill they perform a diagnostic and they also charge you a extreme expensive fees such as just opening the phone without any repairs fees and they mostly offer the cheap quality parts for those replacement. Today August 12, 2019 I bring my iPhone 6s Plus that won't turn ON, I'm mostly know what is the problem so I tell them my issue and what I'm thinking is the cause because basically my iPhone didn't water damage, my iPhone just randomly stop turning ON after I play a game on the phone and the low battery sign show up than I plugged into a charger to charge up but after 2 hour I still don't see my screen ON so I had done some research online and what I'm come out is basically 3 major reason might causing my device of not turning ON. 1 might be the battery too old and can't handle any high voltage anymore. 2 might be the screen LCD. And the third I'm very afraid that this is my issue and that is the logic board, a logic board replacement it almost cost like a brand new phone.

COMPARED WITH APPLE, APPLE PROBABLY HAVE ORIGINAL PARTS FOR THOSE REPLACEMENT BUT IS NOT GUARANTEE THAT WHETHER THOSE PARTS ARE "NEW" OR EVEN DOESN'T GUARANTEE THAT THEY GOTTA FIX IT FOR YOU. THEY MY REPLACE THE ENTIRE DEVICE FOR A HIGHER PRICE OE FORCING YOU TO BUY A NEW GENERATION IPHONE. APPLE ALSO MIGHT CHARGE YOU FOR JUST GETTING LOOK INSIDE OF YOU DEVICE. FINALLY, APPLE MIGHT LET YOU WAIT FOR 3-5 WEEKS OR EVEN THE WHOLE MONTHS.

That is even better than a great customer service, is very very great customer service. That what I call the extreme customer service who take their jobs into the next level.

Had an amazing experience working with Rossman Repair Group. Spilled a cup of coffee on my 2020 MacbookPro, and even though it worked for a few minutes after the incident it soon died. I thought I would go on Youtube and see if I could find out how to open up my device and clean it, and managed to find my way to Mr Rossman's videos. Soon realized it would be foolish to try and do it myself - went to his website and saw that they offer a mail in free quote (I paid to ship, they do a free quote) service so it was a no brainer to send it to this guy and his team after watching a few of his videos. Apple quoted me at 1.1k to repair and once it was said it done RRG repaired my machine (logic board plus some touch pad bits for $600). I thought I was never going to be able to use my machine again and they revived it for me (using it to type this review) and I am eternally grateful to them! Their online portal for communication was super easy to use, very transparent process with no hidden fees. Very fair price all things considered. Thank you to the team at RRG! My recommendations: 1) Don't spill anything on your Mac, 2) if you do, send it to RRG and let them fix it.

Amazing repair service. My Macbook Air 2015 had water damage from me being tired and knocking over Poland Springs Sparkling Lemon Water. It was a logic board fix for $250. My repair was finished in 2 days which I was surprised and grateful for as I thought it would take a much longer time to fix. Going in, I think customers need to expect that there is a chance that their product may not be fixed depending on how severe damage is. I think what really made me have a wow feeling was how organized the process was. Basically, you go in, they inspect your computer internal and then quote you a price only if they are able to fix it. Their website is very useful on getting updates from the technicians. The front desk person (Kevin?) was very effective at getting things done in an efficient yet polite way.
