Well Apple Care doesn't care that much unless instead of repair, they'd tell you to buy a mac product. I went in and they suggested it at first. I declined when they told me the price difference for a brand new macbook pro and the price to repair the one I currently possess. Now they said 755 for water damage, and honestly I was at my wit's end. Until I saw their vid, from one to another, I went to the store explained my situation in detail. Price, probable damage, and others, with a fair price. Well I'm writing from said mac, paid less, it was less severe than what Apple thought and I was satisfied completely by Rossman Group's service. I had the pleasure of visiting the Rossmann Repair Group in NYC one day almost two years ago as friends of mine needed an evaluation of a broken Macbook Pro, a bad hard drive and possible data transfer. Louis Rossmann greeted us immediately and was very friendly and patient. He told us exactly what the problem was and said that the Macbook Pro was beyond repair due to bad GPU connections. In fact he saw this as soon as he turned it on, he could detect very faint lines on the screen which indicated this issue. He was very honest about this, he said that some places would get it to work for a while by heating it up and charging a few hundred dollars, but that the repair would not last long and it would certainly fail again.My friend asked him if he could transfer the data from the Macbook to a Mac Mini so it would work like the Macbook. He said he could and it would take a couple of days. We returned a few days later to pick everything up. The cost was very reasonable and my friends were very satisfied with the service. He gave the bad HD back to us, said it would require sending to a recovery center. Just honest. No ripoffs.In this tech repair industry, dishonesty is very common since tech people know the average person has no clue about any of this technology and there is almost no chance they would know if they are being fooled or how much the repair is really worth. I know this well since I also do computer and electronics repair and support myself and I know how easy it would be to fool customers left and right! I don't do this and I highly appreciate other tech experts who aren't tempted to profit from people's trust and innocence!So in summary, if you don't want to get ripped of and lied to, and are looking for a highly competent reliable technician, make sure you go here with your Mac equipment. If you like, you can stop by an Apple Genius bar first for a good laugh, while they give you the wrong diagnosis, quote you an insanely high repair price, and try to convince you to buy a whole new unit.Finally, if you want to be amazed, look for Louis Rossmann on YouTube and watch some of his videos where he shows exactly how he repairs the "unrepairable" and inspires many others to do their own repairs, start their own repair businesses and with his tireless entrepreneurial positive attitude even motivates disillusioned young students to not give up on school and go to college! (In fact one student said he was about to give up on education but after watching Louis on YouTube he made the decision to enter Med school! Now that's remarkable!)Louis is such a great guy, that in some cases where the issue is very minor, like a bad cable, he even does the repair for no charge! Try to find anybody who is willing to do anything for no charge these days! (The Genius bar would certainly tell you that your unit has been water damaged, when it wasn't, (maybe was in a humid room which would turn the water indicators red!) and quote you $1000 for a repair that would cost them $7 for the cable)Louis Rossmann is a hero, one of those rare individuals who make positive contributions to individuals and society every single day. I am pretty sure that anybody who gives him a bad review probably either is part of Apple, or considers Apple to be some kind of religious deity.

Like nothing happened fixed it, and then actually mailed it back to me. I'm so impressed and relieved, thank you Rossman Group.

I would give them infinite stars if I could!!!!! Rossmann Repair Group is HONEST, reliable, efficient, and very caring. My Macbook Pro (2017) had an extremely sticky and annoying spacebar and was supposed to be eligible for Apple's free keyboard replacement service, so I took it into an Apple authorized repair shop. That shop took five days to open it after I dropped it off and then called me to say that since the internal liquid sensors went off, Apple would be charging me $1200 flat fee to make "any necessary repairs." So I took it to Rossmann and explained the situation. They first opened up the laptop and assessed the liquid damage. Rossmann assured me that there was no liquid inside the computer and everything would remain fine, they just had to replace my entire keyboard unfortunately. I planned to take the laptop home and think about it, but I turned around and brought it back to Rossmann because I figured the problem wouldn't get any better if I left it alone. They asked me to wait a few minutes in the store while they looked at it, and less than 10 minutes later came back and had fixed the stickiness by tweaking with the spacebar. Rossmann did all this for me FREE OF CHARGE. I will never go to any other computer or phone repair company.

Still in shock!! Rossmann Repair Group is AMAZING! Was planning to toss out our MacBook Air after a small water spill rendered it useless -- would have been more than it originally cost to repair through Apple. But, seriously, in the space of ONE WEEK, this company had it evaluated, quoted, repaired AND shipped back to me, all for about 20% of what Apple planned to charge. Did I mention superior communication and customer service, on top of computer repair skills?! We're so grateful! So glad we ran across Rossmann Repair Group in a Google search! :) Thank you!

Take your tech to Rossman!!! They are awesome and infinitely more helpful than going to the Apple store!! I took my water-damaged MacBook there and was met with patience and honesty. After making a quick check - in my plain sight, NOT secretly behind closed doors - to determine that my laptop could probably be repaired, they walked me through the process and the cost structure. I would pay the basic repair cost ONLY IF THEY SUCCEEDED in repairing it. Also they would keep me informed and would not proceed with anything requiring an additional cost without obtaining my approval first. I agreed to start the process and was pleasantly surprised that there was also NO UPFRONT COST! That's how fair and confident they are!

I HIGHLY recommend RRG and would go there again for a repair in a heartbeat. Thank you RRG for giving me options, freedom and respecting and supporting out rights to repair. MY TECH, MY CHOICE!

These are the ones to trust- forget apple! First of all, their email response to my inquiry was extensive and in depth. Someone really took the time to analyze my situation and give me their expert advice. I brought it in for a diagnostic and found the LCD needed to be replaced from water damage. They were extremely honest and actually advised me against fixing it (turning away business!)-that’s when you know they’re trying to help the customer. I also search elsewhere for pricing on an LCD replacement, and they are the cheapest I found. Even if they weren’t, I would still pay more to have them work on my devices. They also have 3 awesome cats for moral support. Everyone was extremely kinda and helpful. Top quality service. I will take my devices here and recommend them from now on! Thanks guys!

Brough a macbook air with spilled wine on the keyboard damage. It took motherboard replacement. Everything was done as promised, computer works fine since a year ago when repair was made. I recommend this repair shop to all my friends.

This is my second time sending my laptop for a repair. Liquid damage the first time and this time a broken screen. They are reasonable with prices (Apple quoted me the price I paid for the laptop!!) I was nervous at first, shipping it from Wisconsin but everything worked out great both times!!!

Apple wanted 1650 to repair liquid related damage to my 2019 MacBook Pro. I paid 2200 and wasn't about to do that. Thankfully I found this company on YouTube and loved the owner's passion for right to repair. Their service is amazing. I sent them my laptop and had an estimate within days and the machine was returned to me within the week. A+++ - I can't speak to their service enough

They were fair and honest when I had a Mac book pro brought to them. My brother spilled something on it and they only charged for a cleaning. Apple wanted to charge over $800 for a new board.

Now I know why you are having these many stars :)Preface : A day before Christmas, unfortunately I spilled hot tea on my macbook pro and the panic started. Having a complete newbee to apple damage, I ended up at Apple Care where I got an estimate of 1200 bucks. It was sufficient to make me faint.I lost complete hopes and felt like stranded. I searched a lot on google and found multiple sites where they claimed that they will repair it in days time. But somehow reading all stars for Rossmann, I decided to go there. All the vacations and the workload they had, it took a while to get the laptop back as it was on day 1 but they nailed Apple Care in all ways.Service : Just as heard, got it repaired in exact timeframe as it was committed (couple of days in advance actually). Amazing service and clear communication on everything. I was told to call after 3 weeks (vacations and work load as mentioned) so I decided not to call in between and they themselves called me before that time.Quality : Seems just like day 1 when I first saw my laptop.Price : I had to pay only 40% of what I was told at Apple Care.. Nailed it completely.Advise : Don't be idiot like me to spill on the liquid on your laptop. If you somehow achieve to be an idiot, land up here.Recommended for sure :)
