Mit kaputten Macbook (liquid damage) nach New York gereist, schlecht gelaunt da es vmt. auf einen Logic Board-Wechsel bei Apple hinausgelaufen wäre mit Kosten von über 1000Euro. Zufällig über diesen Laden gestolpert, sah von aussen ein bisschen schäbig aus - innen wurde einem aber schnell klar, dass da Profis am Werk sind. Allgemeinen Kostenvoranschlag für einen Wasserschaden von ca. 450 Dollar bekommen, welcher deutlich unter dem Preis von Apple gelegen hätte. Nach 5 Tagen Macbook zurück bekommen, sehr glücklich da ich nur 100 Dollar zahlen musste, aufgrund des doch sehr geringen Schadens. Kann diesen Laden jedem sehr empfehlen, auch wenn man nur kurz in New York ist...

Spilled smoothie on a brand new two week old Airbook. Apple repair was going to be $1100. Bought new Airbook but couldn't throw out damaged one. A few months later learned of Rossmann Group through You Tube video. They fixed for $350. My son now has an Airbook that has been perfect for 2 years.

I had spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro and I took it to a repair company near where I live. Worrying about what could be wrong, I stumbled across one of Louis' videos. I was impressed about what I had listened to, I went and picked up my computer and shipped it from Kansas. It was during the holidays and I am sure the anticipation of wanting it completed and when it actually was didn't help. However, Steve was a gem and did communicate with me when I inquired via email or by phone. I am impressed by the price of the logic board repair and their expertise. Apple wanted 1650 to repair liquid related damage to my 2019 MacBook Pro. I paid 2200 and wasn't about to do that. Thankfully I found this company on YouTube and loved the owner's passion for right to repair. Their service is amazing. I sent them my laptop and had an estimate within days and the machine was returned to me within the week. A+++ - I can't speak to their service enough

This is my second time sending my laptop for a repair. Liquid damage the first time and this time a broken screen. They are reasonable with prices (Apple quoted me the price I paid for the laptop!!) I was nervous at first, shipping it from Wisconsin but everything worked out great both times!!!

I took my computer to Apple after it broke for apparently no reason. It just stopped working one day as I was typing, mid sentence. There had never been a spill or true water damage. At the worst, maybe I had used it outside in foggy weather a few times. I took it to Apple and they said that “according to a red sticker indicator” that it fell under liquid damage. And that there was a small part inside the computer that appeared to be liquid damage. Sounds like a scam. I tried to argue it but they were like a brick wall, and quoted my $700 to have it fixed. I brought my computer to Rossmann and they quoted me half of what Apple had quoted me, because I told them that Apple had said it was liquid damage. Then, after they looked inside and cleaned the computer and changed a few things, they decided that it was not liquid damage, and fixed the computer for FREE. Needless to say, ROSSMANN is amazing and I will never go to a Apple for a computer problem again because it is a huge scam and a ripoff!! “Genius Bar” at Apple, give me a break. Those employees are trained to rip off naive, unknowing customers!

I spilled a spoonful of milk and cereal on my Macbook Air and two weeks later, the wifi stops working. I walked in for a diagnosis and it turned out that replacing the wifi card twice didn't work. One of his employees told me that something was wrong with the logic board and it'd be $325. I accepted this, knowing Apple would have charged me twice the price most likely.Two days later, I get a call in the morning that my machine is ready for pickup. I get there and ask the guy how much it'd be and he told me they won't actually charge me, and instead asked for a good tip. I left $40 in the tip jar. So there you go folks. 40 bucks for what would have cost hundreds at Apple. Skip the Apple Store and take your machine to Rossmann.

I have a 2014 Retina MacBook Pro that took a bath in a puddle of coffee. I am familiar with dealing with liquid damage. I cleaned the logic board with 91% isopropyl but still did not have a functional machine. On a whim I sent it in knowing the component level work they do having watched youtube repairs. I was blown away. They started with an ultrasonic clean, and that was enough to have my machine running like normal again. Sent my Mac for a water damage charging port and the transaction was transparent I’ve received a proposal and my computer is living again after Apple told me it couldn’t be repaired and the repair would cost so much I would be better buying a new one.

Phenomenal repair shop! My moms Macbook pro 16 with coffee spills was pretty much done for, we were heart broken so much money down the drain, luckily my brother stumbled upon this shop online. They live in Chicago, mind you they took a hige leap of faith to mail it in. Long srory short they fixed it at a fraction of what it would cost -600 bucks! For coffee spills they usually switch mother boards ect and you get a bill similar to the price of the computer. They are super transparent about the process. In todays age very few places you can blindly trust, and why i would highly recommend Rossmans to any one around the country, they literally saved my mom from a $2800 loss, so happy! Months down the line im trying to swap out my hard drive in my 21.5 imac and finding the right tape is tricky. Ive heard heaps of horror story of screens falling off in the middle of the night... Any hoot i called them up and asked them for the info, they not only ready helped me over the phone, they also went ahead and gave me there supplier for the adhesive im looking for! I had a user who spilled a latte on his 2017 15" MacBook Pro. I called around to local repair shops (Buffalo, NY) to try and get a quote to have cleaning done. One said, "Because were an Apple AASP, Apple doesn't allow us to give quotes for liquid damage repair over the phone, and we have to follow whatever Apple says we need to do, so you'll have to bring it in."Because of this I figured they'd simply want to replace all the parts that came in contact with liquid and the service would cost somewhere around 1500$.I had heard of Louis Rossmanns shop before; I myself am an IT professional and enjoy watching his videos and hearing his commentary on various topics. But I honestly never actually thought I'd send his shop something to fix. Not because I was worried about the quality of repair, or the cost, only because I never thought I'd need to ship a Mac all the way to Austin to get it fixed.But, I did.I called up Rossmann Repair, and immediately was given a very reasonable quote over the phone. After which I began the process and shipped the Mac to Rossmann Repair to be cleaned initially, and if anything else was wrong, they'd replace the keyboard and or perform board repair depending on how much damage actually occurred. In any case it was soooo much less than purchasing a new device or having an AASP work on it.Throughout the process communication was great. The ticket was updated as soon as any new information was available. In about a week I was notified that the repair was complete and all that was needed was the ultrasonic cleaning. Instead of paying 1500$ for a repair I had a mere 100$ cost for cleaning plus the amount it cost me to ship it to them!The Mac is back with its user, has the new nickname "Latte Mac", and is working just as good as before it had a latte dumped all over it.I would highly recommend anyone needing a repair on their Mac to contact Rossmann Repair because I'm sure they'll do a great job and cost so much less than an AASP. Either way, I will definitely be doing business with them again if ever I need a Mac repaired.
