Highly recommend, I rarely bother to write reviews but I would for rossman! I spilled some water on my boyfriends computer and the screen stopped working but it would turn on. Months later, I took it to rossman. Quick service, fair price, and quality product. In about a week, the computer was fixed and worked like before(so far, as I just picked it up today). Way better than tec serve or apple store repairs. And as always, I hope you learned something :) Ps support small business!

Still in shock!! Rossmann Repair Group is AMAZING! Was planning to toss out our MacBook Air after a small water spill rendered it useless -- would have been more than it originally cost to repair through Apple. But, seriously, in the space of ONE WEEK, this company had it evaluated, quoted, repaired AND shipped back to me, all for about 20% of what Apple planned to charge. I am so so thankful for this company, they fixed my 2015 Mac that I totally thought was dead from water damage (thank you toddler for dumping an entire cup of water on top of it). Speedy repairs and shipping times with prompt communication. Only place for improvement would be the stickers that they put on the devices, they leave a bit of residue when removed, thankfully we had goo gone so not a big deal and so minor that I can barely complain about it. I had the pleasure of visiting the Rossmann Repair Group in NYC one day almost two years ago as friends of mine needed an evaluation of a broken Macbook Pro, a bad hard drive and possible data transfer. Louis Rossmann greeted us immediately and was very friendly and patient. He told us exactly what the problem was and said that the Macbook Pro was beyond repair due to bad GPU connections. In fact he saw this as soon as he turned it on, he could detect very faint lines on the screen which indicated this issue. He was very honest about this, he said that some places would get it to work for a while by heating it up and charging a few hundred dollars, but that the repair would not last long and it would certainly fail again. My friend asked him if he could transfer the data from the Macbook to a Mac Mini so it would work like the Macbook. He said he could and it would take a couple of days. We returned a few days later to pick everything up. The cost was very reasonable and my friends were very satisfied with the service. He gave the bad HD back to us, said it would require sending to a recovery center. Just honest. No ripoffs. In this tech repair industry, dishonesty is very common since tech people know the average person has no clue about any of this technology and there is almost no chance they would know if they are being fooled or how much the repair is really worth. I know this well since I also do computer and electronics repair and support myself and I know how easy it would be to fool customers left and right! I don't do this and I highly appreciate other tech experts who aren't tempted to profit from people's trust and innocence! So in summary, if you don't want to get ripped of and lied to, and are looking for a highly competent reliable technician, make sure you go here with your Mac equipment. If you like, you can stop by an Apple Genius bar first for a good laugh, while they give you the wrong diagnosis, quote you an insanely high repair price, and try to convince you to buy a whole new unit. Finally, if you want to be amazed, look for Louis Rossmann on YouTube and watch some of his videos where he shows exactly how he repairs the "unrepairable" and inspires many others to do their own repairs, start their own repair businesses and with his tireless entrepreneurial positive attitude even motivates disillusioned young students to not give up on school and go to college! (In fact one student said he was about to give up on education but after watching Louis on YouTube he made the decision to enter Med school! Now that's remarkable!) Louis is such a great guy, that in some cases where the issue is very minor, like a bad cable, he even does the repair for no charge! Try to find anybody who is willing to do anything for no charge these days! (The Genius bar would certainly tell you that your unit has been water damaged, when it wasn't, (maybe was in a humid room which would turn the water indicators red!) and quote you $1000 for a repair that would cost them $7 for the cable) Louis Rossmann is a hero, one of those rare individuals who make positive contributions to individuals and society every single day. I am pretty sure that anybody who gives him a bad review probably either is part of Apple, or considers Apple to be some kind of religious deity.

I was referred to Rossman by several friends/family. I splashed a small amount of water on my MacBook Air keyboard and track pad and powered it down quickly after. I was unable to turn the computer back on after waiting 48 hrs. Apple Genius Bar informed me I would have to pay 800 to replace the logic board. I stopped into Rossman and they had my computer up and running in 15 minutes with a quick change of wire that was damaged due to the minimal water damage. I was so impressed with how quickly they resolved my issue and the fact that they did not charge me for services!! Thank you Rossman computer!

A liquid spill damaged my Apple laptop’s ability to charge. We mailed it into Rossman Repair Group, and they had contacted me within a few days with an estimate and had it back to me within the space of a month. It charges again, the trackpad is fully functional once more, and I can connect to various devices and TV screens without issue. They even replaced the 8-year old battery at my request simply because I didn’t like that it barely lasted a couple hours without needing to be charged. I am so glad I didn’t have to invest in a new laptop!

Saved me from buying a new early 2015 MBP before its time was up. i didnt get to write this review at the time, as it was around the time RRG moved, and there was some issue about putting in reviews at that time. My glass of water was sitting next to the computer, and I reached for something...and knocked it over right onto the keyboard. YIkes. Anyway, I sent it to RRG and about week later, it was returned fixed. That was almost a year and a half ago, and I am writing this review on it right now. The work was done right, the price was more then fair, and this would have been unrepairable it it was up to Apple. It was completed in spite of apples refusal to supply parts. Bravo to RRG

Excellent Mac repair service! We had a little issue with water spillage on a new MacBook Air and the good people at Rossmann Repair Group came to the rescue. Fast, no-cost estimate, excellent internal tracking and notification system where clients can post directly to the service ticket, very reasonable repair rates (much better than Apple), and efficient return of the repaired laptop. Had a liquid spilled macbook pro. Apple store gave a quote for $1100, which was the price I paid to buy the mac in first place. I was using my laptop by connecting a external keyboard for a long time. Found Rossmann videos on youtube, mailed in my laptop and week and a half later, my build in keyboard works just fine. Rossmann charged me a $175. Thank you!

Rossman Hits It Out of the Park Again!!! So this is the 2nd time I have sent a MacBook to Rossman Repair to be fixed. I came across them while frantically looking for someone to repair my MacBook. The first time I had a liquid spill and this time it was a problem with the keypad. Needless to say that the local company that services Apple products where I live wanted to charge me US$1200.00 to replace the entire top case. I called Rossman Repair, sent it via Fedex, of course they could look at it and of course they fixed it for, wait for it... US$250.00 and it's working like a dream. It had nothing to do with the top case. It was a keypad issue. Thanks again Rossman Team. You are absolutely amazing, no fluff, no gimmicks, just a well oiled machine.

Apple wanted 1650 to repair liquid related damage to my 2019 MacBook Pro. I paid 2200 and wasn't about to do that. Thankfully I found this company on YouTube and loved the owner's passion for right to repair. Their service is amazing. I sent them my laptop and had an estimate within days and the machine was returned to me within the week. A+++ - I can't speak to their service enough

I had spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro and I took it to a repair company near where I live. Worrying about what could be wrong, I stumbled across one of Louis' videos. I was impressed about what I had listened to, I went and picked up my computer and shipped it from Kansas. It was during the holidays and I am sure the anticipation of wanting it completed and when it actually was didn't help. However, Steve was a gem and did communicate with me when I inquired via email or by phone. I am impressed by the price of the logic board repair and their expertise. It was worth the time and effort to send this to Rossman Group. I am glad my computer is back home and I am able to continue using it. Again, thank you Rossman Group for a job well done.

The experience here is shockingly easy and transparent. My 2015 Macbook Air was soaked in dirty bleach water (leaked onto the open laptop from a hole right above in the ceiling, caused by asshat housemates upstairs who decided to clean their hole-ridden wooden floors by dumping a bunch of bleach on it--can't make this stuff up)... laptop only worked while connected to a power source, and when it was turned on, it made a helluva sound from the fan. I brought it into the Apple store. The genius told me that the logicboard was affected and it would cost 775+ to ship out for repair. The same man then told me to check out Rossmann Repair Group across town... I followed his suggestion. Walked into the store, laptop was opened up immediately. I was told logicboard is fine but battery and trackpad/track cable need to be replaced. They gave me the price ($275). I said ok! They made the repair. I was out of there in 15 minutes with a fully functioning laptop.I love this place.

i called two reputable apple repair shops that are still open during this pandemic to fix my macbook pro which had a bit of water damage - rossman & mikey's hook up in williamsburg.i called mikey's first to ask if they could possibly give me a ballpark estimate over the phone and turnaround time. the person who answered was rude, refused to give any sort of pricing, said it would cost $80 just to look at it, and turnaround times are at least 3 weeks right now. then i called rossman's, which is twice as far from me. the person who picked up was professional, took the time to give me a range of ballpark prices depending on different possibilities, said there is no diagnostic fee, and estimated a 5-7 day turnaround.i immediately chose rossman's. the price was reasonable + accurate to what he described, and they got it fixed for me in 3 days. plus there's a warranty. i'm glad i went the extra distance to see these guys and i've already started to recommended them.
