You might have to leave your Macbook, but we will give you an assessment of what the liquid spill damaged, and what would need to be fixed, at no charge! If your Macbook is too far damaged to be worth repairing, you can take it back at no cost. If you are local, come to our store. Macbook spill damage is serious because it corrodes sensitive electronic components, but it’s not unfixable. At Apple, you will hear quotes of $750 to $1600 to repair Macbook water damage. Their claim will be that they must replace the entire board with an overpriced tier 3 or tier 4 repair. The reality is that they are not interested in getting their hands dirty fixing the totally reusable parts you already have: it’s easier for them to gouge your wallet by replacing everything.
As soon as you get liquid in your Macbook you should stop using it. Turning it on will just make it worse as this allows electricity to flow through shorted wet components causing it to look like the board in the picture below. Even when the damage is this extensive we can repair it, but it is best to minimize damage so we have a higher likelihood of fixing your board in a reasonable timeframe.

Giving a price without seeing the device, assessing its condition is impossible. Everyone feels better having some basic idea of what things may cost, so for a basic idea, see below. Do realize the + means price can go up! Please do note that drives that have been opened before are rarely if ever recoverable by us: mention this prior to sending it in as we rarely work on pre-worked on drives.

I was given a cost and time estimate reflective of what was on their website. Their service exceeded the high-points of both estimates. It was definitely not a drop-in the bucket cost, but worth the service. I was notified 24 hours later that my data recovery was complete. Apple & BestBuy denied repairs on my Macbook due to lack of parts, biohazard, and/or liquid damage. Only issue I had was a bad battery. Rossman Repair Group replaced it for a fraction of what Apple charges and had a turn around time for a week and half with shipping from up north. Updates received through the entire process. Great service!

World-class Mac repair service. If you want it done right and fast, this is the shop. Rossmann Repair had my damaged Macbook Pro screen replaced and ready for pick up less than six hours after drop off. i called two reputable apple repair shops that are still open during this pandemic to fix my macbook pro which had a bit of water damage - rossman & mikey's hook up in williamsburg.i called mikey's first to ask if they could possibly give me a ballpark estimate over the phone and turnaround time. the person who answered was rude, refused to give any sort of pricing, said it would cost $80 just to look at it, and turnaround times are at least 3 weeks right now. then i called rossman's, which is twice as far from me. the person who picked up was professional, took the time to give me a range of ballpark prices depending on different possibilities, said there is no diagnostic fee, and estimated a 5-7 day turnaround.i immediately chose rossman's. the price was reasonable + accurate to what he described, and they got it fixed for me in 3 days. plus there's a warranty. i'm glad i went the extra distance to see these guys and i've already started to recommended them.read more

I would give them infinite stars if I could!!!!! Rossmann Repair Group is HONEST, reliable, efficient, and very caring. My Macbook Pro (2017) had an extremely sticky and annoying spacebar and was supposed to be eligible for Apple's free keyboard replacement service, so I took it into an Apple authorized repair shop. That shop took five days to open it after I dropped it off and then called me to say that since the internal liquid sensors went off, Apple would be charging me $1200 flat fee to make "any necessary repairs." So I took it to Rossmann and explained the situation. They first opened up the laptop and assessed the liquid damage. Rossmann assured me that there was no liquid inside the computer and everything would remain fine, they just had to replace my entire keyboard unfortunately. I planned to take the laptop home and think about it, but I turned around and brought it back to Rossmann because I figured the problem wouldn't get any better if I left it alone. They asked me to wait a few minutes in the store while they looked at it, and less than 10 minutes later came back and had fixed the stickiness by tweaking with the spacebar. Rossmann did all this for me FREE OF CHARGE. I will never go to any other computer or phone repair company.

Had an amazing experience working with Rossman Repair Group. Spilled a cup of coffee on my 2020 MacbookPro, and even though it worked for a few minutes after the incident it soon died. I thought I would go on Youtube and see if I could find out how to open up my device and clean it, and managed to find my way to Mr Rossman's videos. Soon realized it would be foolish to try and do it myself - went to his website and saw that they offer a mail in free quote (I paid to ship, they do a free quote) service so it was a no brainer to send it to this guy and his team after watching a few of his videos. Apple quoted me at 1.1k to repair and once it was said it done RRG repaired my machine (logic board plus some touch pad bits for $600). I thought I was never going to be able to use my machine again and they revived it for me (using it to type this review) and I am eternally grateful to them! Their online portal for communication was super easy to use, very transparent process with no hidden fees. Very fair price all things considered. Thank you to the team at RRG! My recommendations: 1) Don't spill anything on your Mac, 2) if you do, send it to RRG and let them fix it.

Can't recommend them and their services enough. I spilled coffee on my MacBook Air keyboard, and it shut down and wouldn't turn on after a few days. I remembered seeing their repair videos on youtube a while back so I figured I'd give them a shot. They received my computer on Monday and had it back on my doorstep Friday, spotless and working as if nothing had happened. Mit kaputten Macbook (liquid damage) nach New York gereist, schlecht gelaunt da es vmt. auf einen Logic Board-Wechsel bei Apple hinausgelaufen wäre mit Kosten von über 1000Euro. Zufällig über diesen Laden gestolpert, sah von aussen ein bisschen schäbig aus - innen wurde einem aber schnell klar, dass da Profis am Werk sind. Allgemeinen Kostenvoranschlag für einen Wasserschaden von ca. 450 Dollar bekommen, welcher deutlich unter dem Preis von Apple gelegen hätte. Nach 5 Tagen Macbook zurück bekommen, sehr glücklich da ich nur 100 Dollar zahlen musste, aufgrund des doch sehr geringen Schadens. Kann diesen Laden jedem sehr empfehlen, auch wenn man nur kurz in New York ist...

These guys are the BEST...capable, honest, fast and the best prices in Austin! I spilled Diet Coke all over my Macbook Air keyboard and thought that was the kiss of death. They were able to repair it and replace all of the damaged parts for less than 1/5 the price that Apple or one of the other "Official Apple Repair Centers" was going to charge.
