You might have to leave your Macbook, but we will give you an assessment of what the liquid spill damaged, and what would need to be fixed, at no charge! If your Macbook is too far damaged to be worth repairing, you can take it back at no cost. If you are local, come to our store. Macbook spill damage is serious because it corrodes sensitive electronic components, but it’s not unfixable. At Apple, you will hear quotes of $750 to $1600 to repair Macbook water damage. Their claim will be that they must replace the entire board with an overpriced tier 3 or tier 4 repair. The reality is that they are not interested in getting their hands dirty fixing the totally reusable parts you already have: it’s easier for them to gouge your wallet by replacing everything.
As soon as you get liquid in your Macbook you should stop using it. Turning it on will just make it worse as this allows electricity to flow through shorted wet components causing it to look like the board in the picture below. Even when the damage is this extensive we can repair it, but it is best to minimize damage so we have a higher likelihood of fixing your board in a reasonable timeframe.

Giving a price without seeing the device, assessing its condition is impossible. Everyone feels better having some basic idea of what things may cost, so for a basic idea, see below. Do realize the + means price can go up! Please do note that drives that have been opened before are rarely if ever recoverable by us: mention this prior to sending it in as we rarely work on pre-worked on drives.

Sent in a water damaged MacBook Air that another tech tried fixing by cleaning with alcohol unsuccessfully. Screws where missing on the back and from the fan. Rossmann fixed it within 3 days and shipped it back working perfectly and with all the missing screws replaced.

A liquid spill damaged my Apple laptop’s ability to charge. We mailed it into Rossman Repair Group, and they had contacted me within a few days with an estimate and had it back to me within the space of a month. It charges again, the trackpad is fully functional once more, and I can connect to various devices and TV screens without issue. They even replaced the 8-year old battery at my request simply because I didn’t like that it barely lasted a couple hours without needing to be charged. I am so glad I didn’t have to invest in a new laptop!

Phenomenal repair shop! My moms Macbook pro 16 with coffee spills was pretty much done for, we were heart broken so much money down the drain, luckily my brother stumbled upon this shop online. They live in Chicago, mind you they took a hige leap of faith to mail it in. Long srory short they fixed it at a fraction of what it would cost -600 bucks! For coffee spills they usually switch mother boards ect and you get a bill similar to the price of the computer. They are super transparent about the process. In todays age very few places you can blindly trust, and why i would highly recommend Rossmans to any one around the country, they literally saved my mom from a $2800 loss, so happy! Months down the line im trying to swap out my hard drive in my 21.5 imac and finding the right tape is tricky. Ive heard heaps of horror story of screens falling off in the middle of the night... Any hoot i called them up and asked them for the info, they not only ready helped me over the phone, they also went ahead and gave me there supplier for the adhesive im looking for! Trust the reviews. This place has great customer service, honest pricing and amazing turnaround time. Water spilled on my laptop unbeknownst to me and sat for days. It wouldn't turn on nor charge. I opened it up to find water w/ rust and corrosion and immediately made a Genius Bar appointment then scoured the internet for other solutions since I hadn't backed up my stuff, ever, and didn't want to lose anything. Found the YouTube page much like many others and got an email quote. The next day I took the hour and a half drive because the reviews seemed consistent and I didn't want to hear the bad news I knew I'd get from Apple. Got a brief diagnosis when I got there and later on that night they called and told me it would be an easy fix. Went over pricing with me every step of the way. I had to get a new keyboard, battery and something else I'm not remembering. Total repair cost w/ tax: $598. Dropped off Friday 12/04 for repairs. Picked up Monday 12/07 fixed. Highly recommend for water damage issues.

These guys are awesome! Called a bunch of shops around San Antonio and they all said the whole motherboard would need to be replaced after I spilled water on mine and it would cost me around 1000$ to fix it, not only that, all my data would be lost (might as well buy a new laptop). But these guys, not only they fixed what actually needed to be fixed, charged me with a very reasonable amount, saved all my data, but also were able to ship it back to me in San Antonio for 10$. Still can’t believe I got my laptop back with all it’s data and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Glad I bumped into these guys on YouTube, was worth a 2 hour drive! Also, whoever I talked and worked with was very nice and professional! You guys rock!

I love this place SO much. I unfortunately spilled about 16oz of water across my keyboard (with protector) on my MacBook Pro 2015, and did everything I could immediately to try and save it- wiped it down, turned it off, turned it upside down and brought it to be cleaned soon as the computer repair store across the street from me was open the next day. The technician there said it was really promising and would call me in about an hour. He held onto my computer for nearly a week and said it was not worth the repair. That he could try to replace the logic board- but that would be $600+ and may need more parts. I called an Apple approved repair shop in a neighboring town and they said they couldn't repair it because the logic board for this model wasn't even available to them and to just buy a refurbished or used one online for $600-$800. I did some research and found Rossmann Repair Group and decided to give them a try after talking with someone over the phone to get an estimate and confirmation that they would accept mail-ins and also not charge if they couldn't fix it which seemed totally worth it compared to the other options I found. I followed the form online, sent it in, and received a timely quote for $250 ($75 less than estimated over the phone!) They did the repairs I authorized and I now have my repaired computer back after 1 week! I could not recommend enough. You can even pay extra for an even speedier repair and shipping if needed. Can't recommend them and their services enough. I spilled coffee on my MacBook Air keyboard, and it shut down and wouldn't turn on after a few days. I remembered seeing their repair videos on youtube a while back so I figured I'd give them a shot. They received my computer on Monday and had it back on my doorstep Friday, spotless and working as if nothing had happened. These are the ones to trust- forget apple! First of all, their email response to my inquiry was extensive and in depth. Someone really took the time to analyze my situation and give me their expert advice. I brought it in for a diagnostic and found the LCD needed to be replaced from water damage. They were extremely honest and actually advised me against fixing it (turning away business!)-that’s when you know they’re trying to help the customer. I also search elsewhere for pricing on an LCD replacement, and they are the cheapest I found. Even if they weren’t, I would still pay more to have them work on my devices. They also have 3 awesome cats for moral support. Everyone was extremely kinda and helpful. Top quality service. I will take my devices here and recommend them from now on! Thanks guys!read more

This is my second time sending my laptop for a repair. Liquid damage the first time and this time a broken screen. They are reasonable with prices (Apple quoted me the price I paid for the laptop!!) I was nervous at first, shipping it from Wisconsin but everything worked out great both times!!!

I found out about them through Reddit and immediately felt comfortable sending my MacBook Air there with how many positive reviews they got through just Reddit. It took maybe a week and a half from the time I sent my computer to when they said it was finished and being shipped back to me! So easy, one simple transaction.
