We’re top rated.
You likely won’t find a company with as long a track record for Macbook repair as ours. We have never provided a discount or incentive to leave reviews – in spite of this, we have more five star reviews across more platforms than any other logic board repair company in the industry.
We know what we’re doing.
Hundreds of other stores regularly come to our paid forum or watch our videos to learn how to perform board repair, and receive help from us on more difficult jobs.
We offer permanent solutions.
You’ve probably read reviews of places arguing their 30 day warranty terms as the laptop fails on day 31. We offer a 90 day warranty, often help people out for free outside the warranty. We do our best to make sure the work sticks by avoiding bottomfeeding practices. We run jumpers even if a trace is slightly corroded, ultrasonic corrosion away rather than toothbrush it, and do not utilize bad parts or chips that will die shortly after repair.
We don’t snatch parts.
Unfortunately, it is common that you send a laptop in for motherboard repair only to be taken advantage of. Since your laptop doesn’t turn on, this makes it an easy upsell – you have no idea what else still works inside the machine. We believe in stocking parts instead of stealing. We’ve already got what we need!
We accept walk-in customers and laptops you ship to us for service.
Whether you’re down the block or 10,000 miles away: we have service options for you. You can always send your Macbook to us if you are far away, or come to our store if you are in Manhattan: no appointment necessary!
We use parts from the original manufacturers whenever possible.
Most parts on your board are readily available. Apple does not manufacture the Intersil chip on the bottom of your A1466 Macbook that controls battery charging. The 0603 package fuse that blows when novice technicians attempt to replace the LCD without removing the battery on a Unibody machine are generic parts, not unique to Apple.
We warranty our work.
If the logic board malfunctions for reason outside of liquid spill damage or physical damage encountered after the laptop leaves our shop within 90 days, we will fix the board again at no cost. We will work with you outside the warranty period the best we can.
We are a licensed storefront business with years of positive feedback.
We are a licensed business with a legitimate workshop & many happy customers. Google around!
No boards by themselves. Send the entire machine.
Something else winds up being wrong after we send the board back everytime. We cannot offer warranty on board-only repairs. It is best for us to have the entire machine so we can test everything after we reassemble it.
No 2011 GPUs, no machines older than late 2008.
The 2011 Macbook Pro GPU issue will never be permanently solved due to lack of good chipsets available. These we do not repair. White Unibody Macbooks, the original 2008 Macbook Air, and old Pros with silver keys we do not fix. Some parts are no longer available for, and some are just not economically viable. Feel free to query us before sending it in to figure out if we can help you.
